I almost talked my wife into letting me purchase a 52". I may use the Superbowl as an excuse to purchase it.
Go Steelers!!!

I finally caught my husband up on watching this show and we spent the fall getting primed for tonight. We have a bunch of birds in the TV room so they will be covered and quiet, and our comfy couch will be warmed up! Unless a meteor strikes, a hatch implodes or a freighter blows up, there will no interruptions!LOL Go Lost!!!

If you have a Krogers in your area, they make the best sourcream and onion dip. Its their own brand too. Its fatfree and the better than any fat laden dip I've ever found.

I need to upgrade for the Superbowl. As we watched the Steelers game Sunday, I looked at her an said, "You know if they win, we are getting that 52" Samsung before the SB don't you?"
She didn't answer but kind of rounded her eyes!!

Missie, what kind would you like. I was a chef in my previous life. If you respond quick I can post it for you. I don't have a computer at home and I'll be leaving work in about 30 minutes...hurry up if you want something!

Missie...Easy Spinach Dip
1 10 ounce package of frozen spinach (defrost in micro and squeeze all the water out)
1 small can water chestnuts, dice them up
1 or 2 green onions, dice them if you have them
1 cup mayo (any old kind is fine)
1 cup sour cream (anything will do)
1 tsp. dried dill
salt and pepper to taste
Just make sure you squeeze all the water out of the spinach. Mix everything together and chill for about an hour or so to let the flavors blend. If you don't have geen onions or scallions just use some regular onions. It's a very forgiving recipe and it is so good! Enjoy the show!

If you like chili, I always make this chili cream cheese dip that'd pretty good - and extremely easy to make. All you need is cream cheese (the stick kind, not the tub kind, 8oz package maybe), a can of chili with or without beans, and a bag of shredded cheddar cheese.
I usually use a square 9-inch baking dish to bake it in. Just spread out the cream cheese on the bottom and then pour the chili on top. Cook for 20 minutes at 350-degrees and then pour the cheese on top and cook until melted. I think tortilla chips taste best with it, but I guess that's up to you, but it's good stuff.

Ort, I never knew you were so kitchenie!!! I'll have to try it too, sounds good!
Okay gang, I'll be lounging in bed, cuddled under the covers, 'cause sunny southern Florida is in a deep freeze right now, and watching on my regular old 25" television! I'll have my little pooch right next to me to help keep my toes warm, too!

I'm really not. A big reason I make that is because it's so incredibly easy. :D
Have fun watching! I look forward to another season of head-on battles with you! :p Though, maybe this will be the season we agree.

I won't be watching tonight, unless they immediately put it up online. Oh well. Then, as soon as it is online I'll be watching it on my puter. I don't really care though because I could be watching Lost on a tiny black and white screen and it would still rock! I will just have to refrain from coming to the board to see discussions till after I finally watch it.
also, my boys have a basketball game tonight at 8:00 PM. (Sighs sadly)
