yeah, i've heard about the 'end of the world' in 2012 thing. the thing about the mayan calendar is that theres no way its synched up with the modern gregorian calendar we use. for all we know, 2012 could have been 200 years ago.

but i do love a good conspiracy theory (why else would i be so into lost??). check out zeitgeistthemovie.com and see about the 'end of the age' thing in part 1. could be the same thing as this 'end of the world' stuff.
