If the man that told so many lies in the past shows up at your door and tells you to do something, are you going to do it?

Ben has a history of lying and manipulating everyone he meets. So, when he just shows up out of the blue and tell you some amazing story, why would you believe him and follow his every direction? Jack and Sayid have chosen to do so. Hurley listened to Sayid and did the opposite of what Ben wanted. Kate will try to kill him I would imagine and so will Sun.

We see from Ben's visit to the butcher that he has something brewing. I mean, the lady seemed to know he had Locke in the back of the truck. She apparently knows Ben's plan and I'll bet it isn't full of good deeds!

I wouldn't trust him at all and it frustrates me that they seem to blindly follow him!

It seems like Ben has his own little clan of Others off the island, like the Butcher.

I think the Losties dont know who to trust anymore. Who is the bad guy, who is the good guy?

I don't believe any of them actually trust Ben.

Sayid doesn't trust Ben, but Ben gave Sayid an opportunity to avenge the death of his wife, and he took it.

I don't think Jack actually trusts Ben, but Jack wants to go back to the Island, and right now Ben is his best opportunity to do so.

Hurley obviously doesn't trust Ben, and neither would Sun or Kate.

I think they trust Ben as a means to an end, but nothing more. Jack needs him to get back to the island - but that's about as far as that relationship goes. And in all likelihood, Jack will bring the remaining O'6 back to the island with the intention that they'll get revenge on Ben for everything he did.

remember, we have yet to see a lot of inbetweener stuff, so they are privy to a wee bit more info than us, helping them decide who they should side with. i dont think its a case of now we suddenly trust the guy who was our arch nemesis on the island (pre keamy lol!) we've got a lot to learn about how our losties came to be where they are at now and i dont just mean in the physical sense!

Yeah, but have you ever thought that Ben arranged for her death? It would be awfully convienient to have a hired gun like Sayid kill off all of your know enemies wouldn't it? How easy would it be for Ben to hire someone to kill her, or do it himself, and then tell a down and distraut Sayid that he knew who did it and he knew he would kill all of them to avenge her death?

Thats just good planning on Ben's part!

Ben having Nadia killed is a definite possibility. What I should have said was that Ben offered Sayid a chance to vent the anger of losing his wife, and Sayid took that opportunity.

Venting is a good way o describing what Sayid did. It just seems to convienient for Ben that it happened that way. I've always thought that he had something to do with her death.
