Thoughts about Jin

In the one hour show previous to the 2 new episodes, something stuck with me out of everything. I forget which person stated it; but, one of the producers made mention of Sun and how her future is driven by the belief that Jin is dead.

Now, maybe I'm reading too much into that statement; but, if someone tells me something is believed to be true vs. stating it as truth then there is enough room for error to let me think it isn't totally factual.

So, I believe (see what I did there) that Jin is in fact still alive! Where he is currently is a totally different matter.

One more thing about Jin, when he took that Panda to the hospital, I thought it was a future scene and he was giving it to his new daughter. In fact he was taking it to someone else. Was this a future scene where something has changed in time and he isn't with Sun or was this just a past scene prior to the plane crash?

Actually that was a flashback, with the panda. It was a gift to one of Mr. Paik's clients. But I thought the same thing when I saw that scene, in fact I said out loud...believes.

I think that was actually a scene similar to that of Desmond soon after he turned the key. Maybe Jin is unstuck right now.
It's very unlikely, but the way they presented the scene makes me think it might be true.

Where did the freighter go? You couldn't see it from the island and you couldn't see it from the plane. Did I miss something?

I totally noticed the same thing! I believe that Jin is alive too.
