SO what belongs to whom? compass, knife,...

When Richard first test Locke he laid out a compass, The Book of Laws, a comic book, a knife, a vial of sand, and a baseball glove. Do we now know the compass belongs to Richard? The comic book belongs to Walt or Hurley? The knife belongs to Locke? What about the rest of the items?

Maybe it's a knife that Locke will use to kill Richard later on down the line.

Add to that the picture up on the wall that young Locke drew of smokie. Yes, I think Richard was upset that the plan was not working. I clearly told him about the compass, but he picked the knife.
