I'd have to go back and pinpoint the reference, but did anybody notice that a news broadcast called our found Losties, the "Infamous Oceanic 6"?

I agree the word gets misused a lot. But not on this show!! I think the surviving heros have fallen out of favor with the public.

lets go logically.....

hurley - institutionalised and now a murder suspect
kate - well...do we even need to say? ;)
sayid - torturer for the republican guard, working for ben as his hitman basically (but doubt the public would know that)
sun - bit mysterious still....doesnt appear to have done anything unfavourable yet.
aaron - doesnt count, am still feeling cheated he is an O6 :p
jack - drug addled.

hmmmm...kinda an infamous bunch after all :D
