So we've seen that Charlotte had a nose bleed, and also learned she's been having a headache. Sounds like the same sort of thing that happened to Minkowski and Desmond. So she would obviously need a constant, except she's always hanging around the same people, just like everyone else.
I think that, if she really was born on the island, as well as concieved there, that may make her have a more unique connecting to the island than anyone else. The island is going through what Desmond had, and Charlotte will get the worst of the results until the O6(or the island's own constants) come back.
