Ok so i'm just trying to think of crazy ideas and Lost. And one that came to mind that seems strange, is i was thinking Richard could be Jacob. Because he never get any older and he seems to know a lot. I know it sounds crazy but what do you think.

I don't think so, but I think they are probably closer than Ben or Locke are to him. I'd say that either Jacob is the island's mind taking on a human form, or a ghost of a man who used to own the island by himself. Either way, I'm not sure whether to believe Jacob could be considered an Other.

i dont think richard is jacob. i think jacob is original person who lived on the island before the dharma i, before the russeou boat, before the purge, maybe before even the black rock or he was on the black rock and was somehow chosen to control the island. but i think he has to do with the four toed statue and the beginning of the island.
