Thought about Horace

I saw someone mentioned Horace in a thread below, but on a different topic. I dont know if anyone has said this before, so if so I apologize, but in the dream Locke has with Horace he gets one of those nosebleeds, like everyone who had the time travel issues (and Charlotte in the last episode). Do you think it has any meaning?

It is a possibility. My initial thought about Horace's nosebleed was that it was a result of the deadly substance that was released on the DI during the purgue. Much like Ben's father Roger Linus suffered a nosebleed when Ben killed him with a canister of, whatever it was Ben used.

So maybe Charlotte was there during the purge? Charlotte said she couldn't remember her mother's maiden name. I thought right then her mother's maiden name must be some important clue otherwise she would say I can't remember what year I was born or something about herself.

There is something pretty significant about Horace, we just don't know the extent of it yet. Maybe he is her father???

Interesting facts/reminders:

Horace was eventually killed when the Hostiles purged the Barracks with a toxic gas, Horace died while sitting on a bench. Ben closed only Horace's eyes, showing that he still had some respect for him.

Horace told him that he was constructing a cabin to have some rest from DI once in a while. Horace then explained that he had been dead for twelve years! He said that John had to find him, to find Jacob.
