Hey folks, have not been back since last year (so apologies in advance if any of this has been discussed before).

I am sure this is way late in being discovered but did anyone notice that the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, & 42 all add up to 108? The same amount of time put back on the clock but also the same number of DAYS the survivors were lost before being discovered!

Polar Bears, the wheel, Sawyer, Ben, Charlotte and Tunisia. Again this is a late dawning thought. When Ben turned the wheel he ended up in Tunisia or some other African country. When Charlotte was first introduced to the show she was an archeological dig site in Africa where she found a Darma collar and polar bear remains. When the 4 were captured, Sawyer and Kate were kept in bear cages. Sawyer figured out how to work the device to get the "fish cookie" without getting shocked. Ben told him the "bears" figured it out quicker to which Sawyer responded, "yeah, but there were two of them!". So, in season one Sawyer shoots and kills one polar bear so we are technically short one polar bear. Strining this together a bit, the polar bears were trained to push the wheel. One ends up in the desert where he/she succumbs to the hot elements. A polar bear is ideally suited for the cold temperatures at the wheel location. So in a way it all conects.

Speaking of the move and the "teleportation" of the bear/Ben, I know ponder the following - I doubt that Yemi's plane had the fuel capacity to fly from Africa to the Pacific ocean. So, what if at some point when the island is moved and the bear/Ben is teleported to Africa that Yemi's plane somehow gets caught in the "vortex" and sucked back to the island?????

On time travel, it keeps getting repeated that there are "rules" - you can't change time or what is SUPPOSED to happen. Like Charlie is SUPPOSED or DESTINED to die. But Faraday told Desmond he is "special" and the "RULES" don't apply to him (maybe a "floating" constant if there is such a thing).

Anyway, that's all I got for now.

Sorry for any repeat topics.

One more thing . . .

The scenes with the Oceanic 6 are taking place nearly 3 years later right? That means that the plane crash survivors left on the island have been time jumping for three years, right????

Not exactly sure how to piece that all together.

They haven't been time jumping for three years. The scenes with the Oceanic 6 and the scenes on the island are not happening at the same time. Whenever we, the audience, go back to the island and see Sawyer, Juliet, Locke, etc., we are just being filled in on what happened three years ago right after the island moved. It's like season 5's new take on flashbacks; note the use of the "flashback noise" every time it switches from the Oceanic 6 to the castaways on the island.

Hey all, Fist time poster here.

I find the concept of the polar bears being transported to the island odd...I had assumed that they were just some sick joke from Dharma or that even odder that the comic book Walt had some how ended up manifesting a polar bear onto the island.

I also am wondering about Jack's dad. How did he get onto the island? Or did he come back to life during one of the time jumps.

I loved that story about "Paralyzed" and Hurley thought she said Palo Lies. Scarry how they got burried alive.
Maybe they'll make appearances like Jack's Dad.
As for people who have died on the island I would live to see some of them come back to too. Specificly Libby.
