Does anyone remember in season one when locke has the dream about Yemis plane crashing on the island. He wakes up and tells Boone they have to go there. Do you think he had this dream because he had seen it happen through this time travel? I'm convinced Ben has seen everything that has happend and knows exactly how everything will finish. Don't be surprised when the last episode of this series is the plane crashing on the Island and we start all over again. Although I am probably wrong and hope this is not what happens

u could be right and it makes me think what if at the end all the flashbacks /flashforwards and island time, could they be all happening simultaneously? and we will just see one last episode threading them all together

This is a very good idea. So this could also mean that Locke has met Horace in real time. That would be crazy if TPTB will make it like that. I'm just happy that we'll not have to wait through the whole season to see how they get back to the island. As I was seeing an interview yesterday they said that we will get alot of answers really soon throughout this season. Yay!!!

i am not so keen on the time loop idea...like it happens all over again but the dreams may well be memories, this is what happened to desmond after all when faraday spoke to him outside the hatch. he had a dream which he then identified as a memory.

I agree with Straz almost completely. "Flashbacks" and "dreams" as "memories" is feasible in terms of when they happened and who they happened to... I also believe Ben *knew* exactly what was going to happen until "he changed the rules." (Remember Chang said there were "rules" as to why they couldn't stop Hitler? Who established the rules or were they preexisting in the time-space continuum handbook you and I failed to receive?) I don't think "he" is Witmore, so much as possibly Jacob. I think that was why Ben was so spooked when his daughter was killed and he did what he did with smokey- that wasnt part of the future he could have seen.

About the ending of the show- I think thats pretty close to what is going to happen. Maybe since one rule was broken when Alex was killed, then others can be too- they can change the future and will shape it to what the island wants it to be once they are all believers in the destiny the island has attempted to show to them.

I could be super off-base, but hey, theres a lot of conjecture being thrown around these forums so I might as well be a part of it.

that's the name of the game....if you throw enough darts, you're bound to hit a bullseye every once in a while.
