Hmm. Peek#2, Des, Pennny, and their child trying to sneak up on Whitmore.
That, of course raises many more questions. I hope we find out soon what
they are doing that for.

If those are Others just because they can speak Latin, then we may as well say Bernard was originally from the freighter because he could understand morsecode.

That gives me an idea, though. If Horace was actually on the Others' side, and only pretended to work for Dharma in the Arrow station, he could have provided the suits and guns and etc.(except not for all of them, because most still had to use flaming arrows).

Here's a different possibility: there's a rumor going around that one of those guys is actually a younger Widmore. If Widmore was an Other, perhaps that's how he knows so much about the island. More people would come to the island, willingly or not, and he would kill them and take their things. Eventually, using all this new technology, he would create Dharma himself, and thus Jacob would become angry with him and try to find a way to exterminate him and Dharma.

Yeah, I have definitely thought Widmore was an "other" at some point in time for sure. He said to Ben that the island was always his. And, I agree that Jacob probably got "upset" at him for something at some time and thus he was booted for some reason and has been trying to get back ever since. Although there are other theories that Ben stole it from him by going along with "Hostiles", killing all the on-island DI members, and then moving it so Widmore couldn't find it/get to it. It will be interesting to see what the true outcome of that is.
