We don't know. Dan, Charlotte and Miles are walking through the jungle with some extras and Miles notices an explosive on the ground and shouts for everyone to stop. He's too late and some people get blown up. Then a group of people emerge from the jungle equipped with bows and arrows - as far as I can tell, there's no indication of whether they are Dharma, hostiles, or some other group. Then some woman comes forward (who we've never seen before), looks at Dan and says "you just couldn't stay away, could you?"

Never saw her before but she knows Daniel. She was wearing one of those military style uniforms that may or may not be DI. I like what she said to him. It's the most important part anyway since we don't know her yet. She says directly to Daniel, "You just couldn't stay away, could you?" I think that about covers it. She obviously knows him....

Do you think she recognizes him from all the exploring and research he was doing with the time skips, or like she actually recognizes him because he was on the island before.
