Freighter? Freighter?

I am not an expert on ships, but why would he send a freighter? I think of that as a ship that carries freight. It doesn't seem like a sensible choice unless it is carrying something yet unknown to us.

At first I thought maybe it carried and dumped the phony plane, but that would have been done before the freighter left on its mission.

I mean I don't know what they should have sent but do you see where I am going here?

Hmm.. I don't know, but it's a possibility that it's a freighter because they needed to carry a helicopter.
