OK Sayid returns to th world with a list of people to kill. I assume this list came with him from the island or freighter.

I assume the guy from the golf course was on the list. What was his name, have we heard of him?

What are your theories on this new list???

Well, we now know that Sayid is working for Ben Linus, but why would he? Does Ben have some sort of a master plan or reason for doing these things? I can't quite figure out why Ben would want to kill so many of these people, but I do know that they are all very wealthy, maybe they have some type of connection with the DI?I don't know, dude!

I think it's kind of obvious why Ben would want to kill so many of these people. Whoever these people are they're connected to the people on the freighter, who wanted to "get" him. He said as much to Sayid. And the women in Berlin had the same bracelet as Naomi (am I right about that? I have to rewatch it.)

There is a lot we don't know, like how Ben is apparently Jason Bourne even though he grew up on the island, but clearly there is some battle between Ben and "the freighter people" and now that he's off the island, he's getting his revenge.

So The Freighter Four do not get Ben. That makes me think Abbadon is referring to them when he asks Hurley if they are alive.

Yes, she was wearing the same bracelet as Naomi, I think it has something to do with who they work for.

Who do they work for? Someone on the freighter (Abaddon?) and I *think* something has to happen on the freighter for Sayid to be soooo angry about it that he goes along with Ben's list.

Sayid is doing this because Ben tells him "u want to protect your friends?" obviously he is referring to the losties that are still on the island...........who the hell knows man...Ben is crazy bent on following through with all his plans (whatever they are...lol)

It's possible, but I think it's bigger than that. I think whoever is on the freighter, whoever wants Ben, and whoever Ben is now hunting is someone connected with Dharma/Hanso.

Yeah, Naomi's bracelet had "R.G." on it.. I think the Ilsa's bracelet looked like Naomi's but it's hard to tell for sure.. although the camera focusing on it seemed like it was making a point.

Since we are know seeing more about how little the freighter four really seem to be invested in their mission to get Ben (with the exception of Miles), I'm thinking that it isn't those four that Abaddon asks Hurley about because they seem pretty expendable to him and perhaps he is asking about Ben and Sayid in case they have contacted him....i know that it's a huge stretch but it's got me thinking

I think they're connected in some way. They made a point of showing us the one on Elsa's wrist.

if the people on the frieghter were really after ben(which sayid doesnt fully believe, based on his coment about them not telling the real reason they are there). why would ben still be alive wouldnt they just do the job while on the frieghter.

or could it be that the people Sayid is killing are after the Oceanic 6? Hurley knew people were after him i think, thats why he wanted to be detained so bad, so that he could be somewhere safe.

Abbadon is referring to the people still on the island, in my opinion.
But I also like the theory that sayid is protecting the Oceanic 6 too.
He can obviously take care of himself.
Maybe when Jack was crossing the street to go to that funeral parlor, that car that almost hit him, was no "accident". Maybe the Oceanic 6 are on some sort of "hit list"
But if people want to get back to that island, then they would be valuable, or maybe they just want them dead.
everyone so far that has come off the island seems to be a disaster, except Kate, she seemed to be very put together.

Regarding Sayid's "list" that Ben gave him, I think that the guy on the golf course was just as much on Sayid's list as Elsa was....maybe Ben is having Sayid kill everyone off that knows anything about the island? When Sayid mentions he was one of the Oceanic 6, the man knew right away he was in danger and started freaking out.

I went back and watched the golf course seen again, trying to see if any clues were given. Sayid calls him Mr Avany? I listened a few times but my PC speakers stink. Maybe Mr Avenue? The guy never tells Sayid his name though. I checked out lostpedia and they just have him listed as "Armando Pucci as Italian man"

Also he wasn't wearing a braclet like elsa and naomi were, he had a watch though. Its possible that it could've been engraved on the back.

thats exactly what I thought! I posted it in the "who is this guy" thread.

but then i got to thinking, Elsa said her boss didn't like new technology, so why was this guy driving a golf cart, to me it seems like he should've been walking the course. Also he had a pretty fancy sports watch on it looked like. So now I'm thinking he wasn't the boss. But I still think he was important, I don;t think they would just show a random kill.

It remains to be seem when Sayid put the hit on Mr. Golfer - Dude is dead, Elsa is dead and Sayid killed them both. My question now is Why is Ben's Target List so important and why was Sayid so EMOTIONAL - Dude was a torturer has no quelps about murdering and he's obviously not afraid of dying, so why the tears????? He got upset about her too and let her go....the same as he did with this woman, he just didn't expect her to turn on him!
