For me it was when Sayid was caught in a net and captured by Rousseau. It was a great revelation, it's a shame Lost didn't have as many fans then as it does now.

I liked the pilot episode the most, I think. Probably because it was so well done, and there were so many possibilities..

i liked the last episode of season 1 the most, when they blew open the hatch, i had a theory all through season 1 that the others had underground tunnels throughout the island, hence the reason you heard them whispering but never saw them, or their tracks. when you saw the ladder going deep underground at the end i just thought that i was right all along. even though this turned out to be not exactly true it was still a memorable moment for me and couldnt wait for season 2.

LOST: Season 1, Episode 19
Deus Ex Machina

Wow is the only word that can some up this episode...
The flashbacks are amazing, the Locke-and-Boone interaction is amazing, and the ending? Possibly the greatest ending ever

This is what sums up 'LOST' for me...

My favorite episode was the Locke-centric episode called 'Walkabout.' The ending was unexpected and very moving at the same time.

Definetely the Pilot. I didnt get into the show when it first aired on TV, but one day during the season 2 offseason, my buddy brought over season 1 on DVD, and i gotta say, that first episode turned me into an instant fan.

I think the 2 biggest moments for me were when Hurley said one of the names wasnt on the manifest, and the Polar Bear was probably the biggest WTF moment ive had in my TV watching experience!

I didnt get into the whole mythology of the show until after i watched the whole season, then i realized how much more to the show there was, i definetely had to rewatch. I think i discovered the Aimoo site around the time i finished season 2, which i watched online immediately after season 1, and ive been one of the most active posters on that site since that moment.

that was season 3, The Man from Tallahasse.

Walkabout is where we learn locke worked in a box factory, had a fixation with a woman on a sex line called Helen, intentionally the same name of his wife to replace her, he tries to go on a safari across the outback and gets turned down.

Frustrated and desperate Locke has to come to back to LA on flight 815. As he boards the plane dispondant he contemplates what teh rest of his life will be like.

815 crashes, and in the ensuing horror calms washes over locke. As he stands for the first time in 4 years...

Its also my favourite episode.

The Pilot was too jack centric. I like the ones about Sun and Jin because it was a huge revelation about what was going on there. The Charlie ones made me sad.

The Moth It's about Charlie and I feel sorry for him I mean look as far as I know he was a good guy clean before his brother messed him up with Drug and stuff. Look at how he cared for Claire and baby Aaron. He was a great friend to Hurley. i like this show the best.

Since season 1 is the one i watch more regularly, mainly because i dont have the other 2... yet, i would have to say my favorite one was the one about Sawyer. Gotta love the bad boys :) Anyways, to learn why he was that way was the greatest thing for me. It added a lot of humanity into an otherwise cynical character.

My favorite moment was with the polar bear... I mean WTH is a polar bear doing on a tropic island? And the whole season was summed up with Charlie saying "Guys.. where ARE we?"

So i take it you were all for Jack and Kate to get together instead of her being with Sawyer?

I loved the one where hurley made the golf course. You got to see DR.Jack out on the links like a good Dr. should.
