We know that Locke's body needs to come back to the island for some reason. I think we can assume he won't actually be "dead" when that body comes back; probably due to some shift of time. Who knows....

However, is that why the plane with Christian Shepherd's body "needed" to crash on the island? So that he too could be "alive"??

I think the plane coming down was obviously planned, and I think that body was the reason why. CS needed to come back...and hang out with Jacob, or speak for Jacob, or be Jacob, or something...

this isnt quite relevant but i had a dream a few nights ago - richard told me that there was a clue in what kinda trousers christian was wearing.

in fact, its not relevant at all - sorry lol!

(but wouldnt it be weird if it turned out to be true!! :p)

This isnt relevent either....

I was thinking about this the other night. I think we all have assumed something maybe we shouldnt have. We assumed that Jacob told Locke to move the island. When in reality Christain told Locke to move the island. And Locke never told Ben that Christian said Move the Island and not Jacob. Locke only said "HE says we have to move the island."

Ok so it was kinda relevent... more then Bunny's dream.

Ive been thinking the same thing. when Locke comes back in the coffin, he wont exactly be dead anymore, or completely alive. He will be in a state like CS is.

I'm beginning to think it was orchestrated, but by whom? Charles has some sort of connection with Oceanic, and he did meet at least Sawyer and Locke before. Others theorise that Libby worked for him. But how could he have known that Desmond would be late in pushing the button that day? Unless someone from the future told him that 815 would definetly crash...

But I think there are greater forces at work. Whatever is possesing Christian's corpse may be just as godly as the Others make Jacob out to be. But I don't think that puts him on the same side. I think he did something to Jacob, had some kind of conflict with him.

Why wait until now? Perhaps that ash barrier around Jacob's cabin wasn't to contain him, but rather to keep the opposing force out.

He would also need to disguise himself as Christian to lure Claire away from Aaron: something we are told that would cause bad things to happen.

Maybe he's using Locke as a puppet, too. Although Locke believes he's working for Jacob, he may be doing the exact opposite. He messed with the ash ring, after all. This Christian fellow may have used Keamy as a pawn, just so that Locke would have an excuse to move the island.

Speaking of Keamy, it seems Christian let Michael live just long enough to get the O6 off the freighter and the island, the latter of which they aren't "supposed" to do.

You make sense, Jeremy. Clearly there is a conflict going on and the real players may not be obvious. Fasten your seatbelts. Its gonna be a bumpy ride.

Agreed. And it might also be a wrong assumption that the white-sneakered man who told Locke to move the island is actually Christian.

If you have ever watched the mobisodes, there is one that takes place before the first shot of the first episode. It shows CS talking to the dog, telling him "my son is lying over there. go wake him up, he has a lot of work to do."

I dont know why they cut that out of the original episode unless it was specifically supposed to be released later, but CS did say "my son" and he is talking to a dog, so there isnt a reason to lie per say, and he also uses the phrase "you/he has a lot of work to do" which I kind of thought was reserved for anyone representing the island.

I read somewhere that Jacob is actually Christian's
father, Jacks Grandpa.
