Everybody, including the ones who died, rebuilds Otherton and lives forever as happy guardians of the Island.
Or
There's a final show down between the Others and the Losties with Ben and Jack fighting to the death.
Ben wins. The final scene shows himstanding on a hill looking out over his followers as they all bow to him. Next to him is a stake with Charles Widmores head on it.
Or...................

Well, first things first...
As we've seen in all the past season finales, there have always been explosions, two of them more significant than the others. Of course there's been others in other episodes, but it's a theme going on and I think it will continue hat with the introduction of Jughead.
But Jughead will go off in the season 5 finale, rather than the 6th. How that will happen, I have no idea, seeing as to how there has been speculation of the bomb ending up in the Swan and being set of when Desmond turned the failsafe key.
But who knows...maybe Desmond will try to change things and end up killing everyone on the island by accident, by setting off Jughead. Either way, if he survives into season 6, he'll try to make things right again. That is, if he doesn't turn out to be the island's Adam.
As for the explosion in season 6, I'm not so sure. Maybe the island would be destroyed, or maybe there would be a change of pace and it would be saved from one.
As for the Losties who are currently travelling in time, I might have a bit of an idea...
*potential major spoilers*
I've heard of and seen screenshots of some of them dressed in Dharma suits, apparently living in an unpurged Dharma society. Maybe they somehow changed the past so the purge would not have occured, or they are in the past and somehow managed to sneak into Dharma. Maybe Daniel is in on it with them and that is when he goes to the Orchid in the beginning of 'Because You Left.'
As for why they would be doing that, maybe they're supposed to protect either Charles or Ben from dieing, or both. Otherwise time would mess itself up and explode or whatever happens when there's an unfixable error(if that can happen).
I'm wondering if some will die, if that is the case, like Sawyer.
Then there are the O6, Ben, and Locke to think about. Will they all survive? Will any of them die after getting to the island? Will Ben actually be able to get back? What will happen to Locke's body once it gets back on the island, if anything?
There's also the time jumps to think about. I would hope they do not continue for the rest of the series. They could help explain a lot, but if the island and the people on it are in danger because of them, I don't think they could survive them for that long. Perhaps the island gets stuck sometime in the past until it can "catch up" to the present.
Really, there are too many variables to think about in order to come up with an ending. All I hope is that Locke at least is at peace with himself by the end of it.

I thought I remember back in season 3 or early in season four there was talk of Sawyer dying eventually (PLEASE let him last thru this season!) maybe that's why he was shirtless for an hour of the opener? so us womenfolk could get our fix? But seriously...I like where you are going with how Daniel and Charlotte tie into this with the Orchid and such....And wouldn't a non purged Dharmic society be a perfect society!?!

Not after all this time and how he's evolved so! I love Sawyer! (not in that way :p but I still love the guy)! Oh, that would royally P*** me off!

The O6 go back, do some stuff, a ship comes to rescue everyone, and on the way back, sinks in a hurricane and no one finds the ship. :D

Really good question.
Not really sure how I would end it other than all of them getting back to the island and making peace with their past and their future while recognizing their significance in the scheme of both. I don't think I would want them to go back to modern civilization as none of them really seem happy there. I think Jack almost had a sense of contentment when he began to hang out with the others and I think that sense of contentment could be obtained by all if they went back to the island and allowed their karma and dharma to play out, I would like all of them to realize their purpose in the scheme of things and live that purpose to fruition. But, then, I am kind of idealistic.

..and it was all a dream.
Seriously though any type of dream/whole thing wasn't real type of ending would annoy me.

To be serious, after all of the drama has played out the 06 and Desmond (along with Penny and Little Charlie) Daniel, Charlotte and Miles would accept that they belonged on the Island and live contentedly as the protecters of the Islandand it's secrets. The Other would accept them as members of their society. Daniel would calculate the coordinates that allowed to come and go so that they could bring in supplies and live in comfort.
Well, I think I would have the time traveling Losties witness the plane crash and since they're on that side of the island where Anna Lucia and Mr.Echo are I would just have them be the ones who were taking the children and other members that got snatched and have Daniel somehow tranport them through time where he has arranged via his mother and Desmond to have a boat waiting for them and take them home making them swear to never speak of this.
As for the O6 they are the integral safe keepers of the island and will have to keep the island in the displaced time state, we will be introduced to Jacob as a real character with the explaination that he is Richard's father and a timeless being himself.
When the O6 join their ranks they are happy to get involved with the island's mysteries on a whole other level. Forever in a time loop and getting to know anyone who has ever visited the island.
