A couple of questions from AJ

I read this site a lot but often don't post, as I'm not as intelligent on Lost as you guys are, which is why I'm here. I would like to ask you a couple questions and see what you think of them....

1. Do you think that it is possible that the bomb is cemented into the 3 toed statue?

2.(dumb question, but why not) Do you think that the time flash will go so far into the future that there is more people on the island, and there's a couple buildings?

3. When Sawyer, Locke and etc. arrive on the beach after the terrible weather, what were the items lying on the ground? I couldn't really pay attention because a friend called.

4. What type of role is Faraday's family supposed to play? I've talked to some people who think Ben is Faraday's dad.

5. Do you think they will do anyting more on the DHARMA stations or Patchy's house again...(outside of the orchid). Especially the one in the water.... Or was that destroyed? I think there is more in the DHARMA stations than they think.

I have so many more questions, but I'm currently drawing a blank.

awesome! that would be rad. I've heard the 3 toed statue will be explained this season so maybe...maybe it's sawyer since he hurt his foot earlier and may have a toe amputated and he ends up saving the island or something, maybe it's Walt's dog who is possibly Jacob...Who really knows? So many theories, it's absolutely possibly the bomb is cemented into it just WAITING to blow :)
2.(dumb question, but why not) Do you think that the time flash will go so far into the future that there is more people on the island, and there's a couple buildings? I think it will go as far as they are all cartoon characters in Futurama lol. It will be cool to see how far they take it...Does anyone remember that show 6 Feet Under, the Series Finale when they left NO stone unturned, I mean you saw how EVERYONE died...maybe we'll see everyone's fate in the future

That was the stuff from Danielle and co's baatwreck I think...I mean the stuff was in French, then Danielle's in next scene.
4. What type of role is Faraday's family supposed to play? I've talked to some people who think Ben is Faraday's dad. My theory? Faraday's dad is Widmore and his mom Eloise is Ellie from last week's episode. Making babies on the island that will eventually time jump back to see mum and dad pre-procreation. But you prolly don't want to hear my other theory on Widmore. If so look for my thread "Says charlie widmore: I am my own grandpa." :)

I hope so...and when they do the water station I hope we see Charlie again

I hadn't thought of the bomb being in the giant cement foot statue, but that totally makes sense. Good point. A.J. Hawke Fan - do not say you aren't as intelligent on Lost . You just came up with a brilliant idea that I had never thought of. That is part of this whole website - different theories. Plus people point things out that I didn't notice, or never thought of. That is why I come here after the episode - to see what others saw, or are thinking.

Maybe. I don't see why not. I think anything is possible with it at the moment. Hell, we may never see Jughead again.

I don't think they'll go too far into the future; otherwise it could potentialy spoil us. :p

I don't have much of a clue. Perhaps the part wherein Rousseau and her team comes onto the island happens before the other Losties get there. Or perhaps Rousseau and her team left some of their things on that beach, found Jin, and came back.

4. What type of role is Faraday's family supposed to play? I've talked to some people who think Ben is Faraday's dad.
I don't think Ben is his father at all. If anyone, it's either Charles Widmore, Brother Campbell, or someone we'll never meet. As for his mother, most seem to think it's Mrs. Hawking, who also seems to be known as Ellie in 1954.

I do think both the Orchid and the Swan will play pretty significant roles this season. Both seem to be pretty important, and both deal with energy, unlike the other stations. However, there's been rumors about a Beacon station. Whatever it is, I hope it'll be the last one. There's too many as it is.

its a four toed statue to start with, and I think alot of the other things line up with that kind of observational skill.

If ellie(she who doesnt move her mouth to speak) is faradays mother the father is the guy who gets his neck broke by widmore.

I think Dan ages. It just doesn't seem like it because he's time travelling. I believe that in that first scene, the flashes are still happening(either that or Locke turning the wheel got them stuck in that particular era), and Dan went to the Orchid to try and find out what to do.

As for Richard not aging, I don't think it has to do with time travel. Either some random things don't age(like Richard and Ben's crackers), or Richard was given this "gift" by Jacob or the island in exchange for finding a true leader of the Others.

Kind of reminds me of the game The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, wherein the king of an ancient world is forced to find the so-called Hero of Time, who had saved everyone thousands of years prior to when it takes place. The king and the dieties seem to believe that the Hero of Time could time travel absolutely anywhere, when in reality it's actually only similar to how Desmond time travels.

Either way, the king ends up finding a new hero, with no blood relation or anything, and by the end of the game, the king is able to rest in peace with the kingdom he once ruled.

Great idea on the statue, btw. Faraday and Alpert seem to have harnessed the ability to insert themselves at different points in time, staying "ageless" while visiting other times in the past/future.

It seems that Ellie (the one you say harasses Faraday) most likely is Eloise Hawkins, Daniel's mom. Dan, Charlotte, et al. have been inserted into the 1950's version of the others' camp. I believe she said "you just couldn't stay away" because she thought initially that they were the US Army coming back to search for their missing bomb. The army had already sent one party a month(?) before, whom Richard admitted he was forced to kill.

Daniel does age. When we saw him in the Orchid during the premiere, I think the Island skipped to a time when Dharma was on the Island, more specifically, when they were constructing their stations. Daniel was on the Island when it skipped to that time, and wanted to go to the Orchid because he felt it held answers for him.

Richard doesn't age, we know that. As for how he doesn't age, your guess is as good as mine. I don't think it is due to time travel, the Island seems to have some kind of healing factor, it could be the Island is keeping him ageless, we don't know for sure.

Yes, Ellie is the one who was harrasing Daniel in the "Jughead" episode. There is speculation that Ellie is Eloise Hawkins, who could be Daniel's mother, I personally think she is. When Ellie said, "you just couldn't stay away could you?" she wasn't referring to Faraday specifically. The Others believed Daniel, Miles and Charlotte are U.S. Military. When Ellie said "you" she meant it generally. As in the "you" the military.
