I'm sick of this cop-out. Twice in this episode Locke told someone "That dosn't matter right now" and Jack did it to Kate with "That's not important right now"

Somebody asks a really important question and the writers have the character respond this way.....B.S. I know it's TV, but come on!!!

Juliet said when Locke was trying to explain how he got shot. That was Ep.4 though.

i think when kate said it - it wasnt used in the cop out sense, more to accentuate the lack of trust and fragile relationship between herself and jack.

Sawyer--"How do you know they are alive?"

Locke--"That dos'nt matter right now."

Sawyer would have realistly followed up with "Yeah John, it actually matters a lot." "Spill the beans baldy, how do you know they are alive?"

All Locke had to say in the first place was, "Richard told me during one of the time flashes that they are alive and well and that I have to go get them to come back."

I'm sick of people being easily appeased with "That dos'nt matter right now!"

That's fantastic!:D

"Can I ask you a question?"
"A question... what is it?"
"It's an interogative statement, used to test knowledge. But that's not important right now."

"We've got to get this sick girl to a hospital!"

"Hospital? What is it?"

"It's a big building with lots of sick people. But that's not important right now!":D
