I'm very interested in the reintroduction of the French crew.. I would not be surprised to see it revealed that Ben actually saved Alex from a dire situation rather than "stealing" her from Rousseau. We have the potential for some great character moments with Ben, possibly showing his softer side and explain in a bit more detail the development of his love for Alex...

Is anyone else as interested in this as I?

If Ben himself actually takes Alex, maybe he spots Jin and that's how he knows he's alive.

Oh I've never thought of that. I have always pictured Ben as the bad guy. I can't wait until we see what happened to the French crew

i've always just thought of it as every other kid on the island. ben takes them, maybe exploits them for island purposes, and gives them a better life. i never thought of it as him just nabbing some little girl born on the island. i mean, he could just go to the island adoption service if he wanted to have a kid. :D

I don't think Ben has much of a soft side. He's pretty much of a cold fish.
