After seeing the video of the Orchid station and the bunny that appeared, I am really thinking it is a time travel thing. Think of everything that would answer. Walt is big, because it is Walt from the future. It would also make sense how Ben was so calm when he saw the plane crash, and how he directed Ethan and Goodwin like he knew what was gonna happen already. He pretty much knew there would be survivors. It would also explain how they have all the info on people, because it is a folder of their history. Richard never ages. Jacob comes and goes, because he is time travelling. Another thought was of the 2 kids in season 2 that were on the episode of the other 48 days. What if they are actually someone else we have been seeing all this time, but just that character in the past, like Jacob for example. The show might be called LOST, not because they are lost on an island, but lost in a different time trying to change history, and keep re-living it till they find their parents or whatever it is they are looking for. Was wierd when that one guy gave a coordinate for them to launch that thing to him, and it showed late. Might be because it was a different time. That is how they got John's dad there. The black box that Ben said they can use is actually a time portal of some sort. Anyways, there are tons of other things that this theory makes possible, and I know others have posted things similar, I just didn't want to read them all. Sorry if I repeated another theory, but it was something me and a buddy were thinking. I would love to hear other theories people have off of this. It opens some good discussion.

Read some other posts and you get a good feel of the theories being bandied about. Time travel is very popular and the physics folks contribute a lot of neat stuff that makes me want to take a nap afterwards! LOL

My head is going to explode. I have so many new questions and everyone has such plausible theories! Do you think this show was created to give people like us nervous breakdowns between episodes?!? ;)

Sometimes I think Lost is like Gary Larson Far Side cartoons. It's for fun and sometimes people read more into it than they should but usually things seem very purposeful in LOST and cluses are like the "little crubmbs" in Hansel and Gretel.

Whenever I try to get my boyfriend to watch with me, he just gets crazy trying to figure things out and ends up leaving the room and giving up about 15 minutes into it. He can't understand why I "torture" myself with it. :)

I couldn't agree with you more. I posted a thread about the Orchid Station on here awhile ago (I've attached it below) so check it out....it discusses the same stuff you all just mentioned but its interesting because I posted that right after the first episode...I think last night's episode shed a lot more light onto the subject of time travel and what not. It was soo great! :)
