Sayid NOT one of the Oceanic 6

Hey guys, I apologize if this was already brought up in another thread. But Sayid said he was one of the oceanic 6 to that guy on the golf course before killing him. First of all, I want to know who that guy was, and also what he was doing out there in the first place. And if Sayid knows all the people he has to kill, what made him KNOW the guy was going to meet him there? Anyways... we can't be 100% sure that Sayid is one of the 6. He could be and then Ben left the island at a later time but with Sayid working with Ben... the LOST writers definitely left it open for possibly another person to leave the island.

My first theory is that Ben was brought off the island by Jack as revenge, but now that makes no sense. Ben probably comes off willingly to save/protect the island. He seems to be "all knowing" It appears that if Sayid wants to keep those still on the island safe/alive, he has to kill anyone that is trying to find the island. That man that went to visit hurley in the psych ward asked him "are they still alive" ?
people want to get there.
Sayid is protecting them. Ben tells him who those people are.

Ben is NOT one of the Oceanic Six because he was not on flight 815. And I believe they said find out another member of the oceanic six next week, I did not hear the sixth member. It is easy to get confused that the six people were people on the plane. I was confused at the end of the episode because Desmond flew off of the island with Sayid. I was wondering if Desmond was one of the six, then I remembered that he was on the island before as well. I am surprised that nobody has posted about him yet.

Ben nor Desmond are Oceanic Six, since they were not on the flight 815, but as others have stated, it seems more than the "Six" get off the Island. Sawyer is
the next of the "Six", especially because of the hint in next weeks preview, that Kate has a plan.

I agree, Ben and Desmond could NOT be one of the 6 since they weren't on the plane. I'm sure they get off (as we know Ben gets off quite frequently) but I have a feeling Ben still goes back to the island from time to time. And does anyone not what Sayid said at the very end, I played it over and over again...it sounded like he said to Ben "You had recruit (orrr maybe DeGroot??? as we know that name has come up in the dharma videos) kill for you..." or something like that I couldn't make it out at all. Man I thought it was a GREAT twist ending!!:)

Ben COULD easily be one of the Oceanic 6. Don't you guys remember his drawer full of fake passports?? He knows everything about the losties.. he could easily find a guy that died, one that has no ties, and take his identity.

But Ben will have to get off without the freighter people killing him first...and he needs a moment to get the new id and set up life as a vet...would take planning so he would need to set things in motion from an earlier time. That knowing things and making it go his way stuff he likes to do.

the wrong plane went down, those on the plane that they did find, were the ones that were supposed to go to the island, that is why the helicopter pilot called and said that wasn't the right guy flying the plane. there were two 815's, and jack's plane was supposed to crash in the ocean, but something went wrong, and their plane crashed on the island instead?

How about this for a theory....The Oceanic Six is a plan by Ben to disgrace
Oceanic Airlines (which is affiliated with Dharma/Penny's Dad and the other high rollers) and expose the fake 815 that was found. His plan would include making a deal with the "Six" that if he got them off the Island to help with his plan he would then get the rest of the 815 survivors off the Island, and deeper into that plan he gets Sayid to agree to help him bump off his enemies.

Hmm that is an interesting theory and I wouldn't surprised one bit if that were true. I have so many theories going around in my head I don't know what I think anymore haha, everything is up in the air :)

I'm not sure if I even think that Ben is one of them, but it definitely could be possible.

He also could have started setting it all up way back right after the crash, or at any point inbetween then and now.

Dealing with the freighter people would be tough, but who knows how many of them are on there.. maybe it's only the 4, plus Regina and George. We don't know for sure there are more than that or who his guy is or anything.

I don't know.. I'm pretty open to the idea of Ben being one of the 6.

And I think its interesting that all along Ben has had file folders on each of the Losties.....maybe he was a part, or knew, about flight 815 landing on the island and they were each chosen for different reasons....we've got Locke and Walt who are both 'special', Sayid a torturer, Sawyer a con man, Kate a felon (which I'm not sure how that ties in but whatever lol), Claire who apparently has a 'special' kid like that of Walt and Jack a spinal surgeon....I dunno its a far off theory but it just came to me....maybe this was all Ben's plan and needed them to carry out further missions like that of what Sayid is doing??

Ben has a network of helpers not on the island. It's those people who have betrayed him and they are systematically being eliminated.I think Ben caused the airplane crash when the computer showed some glitch had taken place. He is so calculating like a cat that lands on its feet and has nine lives.Maybe he needed some new blood, but isn't it interesting that he took the children and then he took Walt. There's a plan to that. He had folders on everyone which makes it seem very likely that he has been off the island doing research to keep his control tight. Is he Jacob? Like an alter ego? Remember that John heard a voice coming from the cabin saying Help me? Is that the other personality pleading for help? Theories abound! That's why I love this series.

The whole time he talked about this hot girl that walked into the restaraunt that reminded him of some ex girlfriend of his, not to mention he would interupt me anytime I would start to talk...it was the weirdest date I've ever been on...and thank GOD for my dvr because we got stuck in traffic and I was missing Lost!!!

Clones or time travel ? could explain alot of things either way. i recall a much earlier episode when the others had walt...when michael finally met up with him, a black lady asked michael(somethg to the effect of) "does he seem the same before the flt? " hmmm,,even walt told michael.."thier not who they seem to be". even that scientist in the old footage, mentions somethg about the islands "unique abilities",,time travel/suspension.....lol, cant wait till next week ;)

OH MY GOD! They just showed the episode over here in Ireland, and it was just so good! I felt much more satisfied with this weeks episode, like it was back to normal!
First of all, I must say, Sayid looked really good in that suit!
And I agree that Ben or Desmond aren't one of the Oceanic six, yet Ben is off the island and I'm presuming Desmond is too!
I LOVED the scene with Kate and Sawyer, it was nice to see Sawyer being nice again for a change! And did Ben seem more evil to anyone in the future flash?
And what is the story with the cabin, and John not being able to find it?
