View Full Version : O6 or O7?

The O6 left, but Ji Yeon was technically the the O6 1/2. So since she was conceived on the island it seems to me the island will want her back. Plus her parents will be there.
Remember the debates in Season 4 questioning if Aaron was an O6? This is even better, because I don't think anyone who goes back to the island is returning per Ben's instructions to Jack regarding what Jack should pack.

And we keep mentioning the O6 here, but I really think Ji Yeon will be returning too. Especially if Sun believes Ben when he tells her Jin is alive, albeit he could probably use some cortezone cream for his sunburn.

And what about Walter??? Is there a reason that now the island didn't need him back?

I was woundering the same thing about Walt. I think this question will be coverd when and if they show the conversation with Walt and Locke that Walt told Hurly that he and Locke had before Lock died. Im still woundering how Lock changes his name legaly. Since he was supose to have died when flight 815 crashed.

You can't forget ol' Frank Lapidus. The fact that he was meant to be the original pilot has to mean something.

Should probably go ahead and add Desmond to that list as well.

And the polar bear skeleton that Charlotte dug up.

So how many is that now?? :-)
I think when it is revealed how to get off the island, we will see who needs to come back. I am not really sure why Walt should have to come back since he was "allowed" to leave the island.

I was thinking about the island 'needing' the O6 back and wondering if that includes Ji Yeon? I did not think about Walt, Frank, and the polar bear. Looks like they'll need a bigger boat, plane, sub, or worm hole.

The polar bear was my bad attempt at a joke.
:)
I bet you that Ji Yeon will be involved. Right now what we know is the Ji Leon is with Sun's mother. But we also know that Sun screwed over her father. It could be possible that Sun's mom is setting her up.
I bet Ben's got people out picking up Walt, Lapidus, and Ji Leon as we type.

Remember when Walt went to visit Hurley in the looneybin? He said that Jeremy Bentham had visited him. I think that means Walt needs to go back too. I am willing to be wrong about that but that's my best guess!

I think the 6 are needed back only because they weren't supposed to leave.
If someone was meant to leave (like maybe Walt), then there is no issue.

i am not sure that anyone who arrived on the island outwith 815 (with the exception of ben) is included?

What about the folks that blew up on the freightor? Would they need to go back too?
I think the original O6 and Desmond would be the only folks. Ok, I forgot Frank, he left too.
Walt left the island presumably with its permission. Ben gave Walt and Micheal the boat and gave him a specific heading to follow in order to leave. The island knew they were leaving and besides, Ben gave them permission. Who knows what that weight that holds. We do know that Ben seems to be connected to the island in ways we don't yet understand.
The island does seem to be a prison of sorts. Kind of like the Mob too, once you are there, you can never really leave!

I think that the reason why Locke visits Walt is because he thinks Walt needs to come back, but in actual fact he doesn't it's just the O6 that need to come back.

I think one of the characters who left the island will stay off the island, doing something there to protect it or something - remember lost has never really liked having an episode spent entirely on the island (usually alternated through flashbacks/forwards) and that way it will be more exciting
.. I have also read that matthew fox is the only character that knows how lost will end... do you think this means jack will play a major role, because at the moment he doesnt really seem to important?

Looks like Mrs. Hawking (and the island) is flexible....which makes no sense.

I've been asking the same question.
I've been asking the same question.
I had the same thought. Mrs. Hawking said something like, "Oh well, what we have here will do for now." No urgency in getting them all back at once. I suppose if you can time travel there's no urgency to do much...

Maybe the assumption that they all need to go back is wrong, maybe Sun's child has a part of the island's soul or whatever and that is all that needs to return. But, for whatever reason, Richard assumed or lied to Locke about the need for them all to return. I'm sure that Sun or any of them wouldn't want the kid to go there on its own.

I hope you are right. There are plenty of mysteries still surrounding Walt. Plus, having the off-islanders in 2008 will help explain why Walt has grown up so much since crashing on the island - which is something they wouldn't have been able to do otherwise.
I am hoping that his appearances after Locke was shot by Ben and his chat with Hurley means he could be coming back.
On a side note, the actor who plays Walt is in a pizza rolls commercial or something like that. I saw it the other day and I was expecting birds to crash into the house window, but they didn't.

Maybe because frank was suppose to fly 815 and he didn't, that might have caused the paradox.

I don't think they need Michael. Before the freighter blew up Christian appeared to him and said "you can go now". I think that was an indication that the island was releasing it's hold on Michael.
