is'nt it weird how Widmore has a poster/painting in his office with namaste writen on it,

the sign on the island when Ben arrives with his dad also says namaste

there is also an Ajira airways video clip with two stewardess, at the end of the clip they place there hands together and say "namaste"

anyone think that Widmore has a fallout (after seeing there disagrements in Jughead) with Alpert decides to leave the group and others follow him?? people like Mrs Hawkings?? they / he then forms Dharma

anyone know anywere/ otherway namaste is connected to the show???

I've always been under the impression that Namaste was the motto of the Dharma Initiative, since Dr. Candle says it at the end of the Dharma orientation films, and for the reasons you've given.

You're probably right about Widmore and Mrs Hawkings, though it would be interesting to see how people like Candle/Chang, the DeGroots, and Alvar Hanso are connected to the Others, if at all.

Does anyone here think that the painting in Widmore's office was made by Claire's ex/Aaron's father? I'd have to go back and look at the first season, but that was what I thought.

Yeah, that got brought up the other day. On lostpedia they have pics of the painting in Widmore's office, and Thomas' studio. My question is how is a painting that Thomas makes in 04 in Widmore's office for his meeting with Desmond in 96?
