That is quite a interesting Theory we know Christian knows about Jacob so does Ben,Locke can hear Jacob. Maybe we will find out Aaron has a connection with Jacob too.

I'm gonna dig up an old theory..........what about Jack? I have been thinking about this for a little while. Does anyone have any recollection of Jacob's name being said in Jack's presence. I am thinking that Jacob is a very old Jack with the beard. I may be wrong but I remember Jacobs brief silhouette shot looking like an old guy with a beard. Another point is that Ben was really sure that Jack could not leave the Island and now MUST return. Jacob may be a 80 yr old version of Jack trying to interact with a younger version of himself through Locke to insure the safety of the Island. Something really bad must've happened to the Island and Jack is going back to right it. I can just see the big reeal from the final episode, ala The Usual Suspects, with Jack signing his name on something, or a nurse filing away his birth cert and it reading Jacob Sheppard. Just a thought. Let me know yours.....
