With massive amounts of funding for research stations, will the DI(DHARMA (Department of Heuristics And Research on Material Applications) Initiative) reclaim its stake on the Island? What happened to the DeGroots/ Dr. Chengchang? The Purge may have wiped out the DI occupying the Island, but there are bound to be more on the mainland eager to retrieve the data and technology left behind by their comrades. Is it possible for new DI personel to show up on the Island on Ajira airlines? Did they leave the water bottle in the canoe Sawyer found?

The DI was a front for the military. It was a cover for the real secret research they were doing on the island. They were experimenting with high-tech weapons systems. It was abandoned after the purge. That's what puts it all together and how Jughead fits in.

We don't know that yet. The only time we have actually seen them is in the recruiting videos for the DI. There has always been speculation that they are Adam and Eve but I don't buy it. They may have just been part of the facade if I am right.

OMG...where do u get your info from? do u just make it uup???? The D.I. is NOT part of any branch of the service......its a PRIVATE establishment!!!! Seriously tho, jeeeze thats why so many false threads get started, MISINFORMATION, it like 30 lil ben linus wanna b's typing away lmao!

wonder where they were.....of course its possible they were wiped out in the purge but tehy may also be alive and kicking somewhere

Where do you get your information from?
Who told you that there's no possible way that the DI could be a branch of the military?

The military was on the island in 54, the DI has a military station (the Arrow) for defence of the island.
That's why we're here; to theorize and go over different options.
