First of all for all of those who were saying that sun was after jack and not ben... I hate to tell you but I told you so.. Ben ben ben. Lol !!
Second of all I'm super happy after this episode because just like I mentioned weeks ago ben wasn't supossed to turn the wheel ,locke was not ben.. Ben was sneaky and manipulated locke. And its because of ben tha everybody in the island is suffering.
( Since when listening to ben does you any good). Lol that's what I'm saying.
Now the question is .. Why did ben leave the island? It wasn't to get them back because one he left at the same time as them 2 he shouldn't let them leave in the first place if there was gonna be trouble and 3 only after 3 years he's trying to get them back?? What was he up to in the last 3 years off the island?? Because of him the island is going crazy he wasn't supossed to turn the wheel himself. In my book he's no good . Charllote says it not to bring sun back ( this place is death) jin also says it and I say it too.. How do we know that bringing them back is gonna do anygood?? I doubt it!!
Now at the end we see a very evil face ( mrs. Hawking) is it me or that face was just evil? I thought everybody has to go back but when ben tells her that was everybody he could get in such short notice mrs. Hawking doesn't seem to mind at all that are people missing .. She says alright I guess we gonna have to work with what we got.( Something like that)... Now wait a minute first we hear that everybody has to go back now all of a sudden its alright if not all of them go back? What's going on here??
Are they really trying to safe the others back on the island?? I say its bull s..
Since ben was the one who got them on that position anyway.
What are they really after??
Oh yeah ben you could of given the ring to sun in the marina..
Now believe me if you want but my guess is that charllote is annie .. Litlle ben's girlfriend back in the island.. Trust me my theories are always on the money..
And as for faraday being the old man she tells him about is because at first I thought that they go back in time to di time and faraday would tell little charlote not to come back there because she would die... But if we think about it him now knowing this from her wouldn't he do the opossite not to freak her out?
I'm so happy with myself my teories are right on the money.

I would like to hear your thoughts especially why ben leaves the island..
Keamy is dead and so are his crew so why is ben still running and leave the island?? What's he been up to in the last 3 years off the island? Why he let the losties leave the island in the first place?
Plus he didn't even know that they left the island because when he kills keamy and the freighter blows up they think everybody is dead. So why leave ? Its not to get the 06 back cause for that you wouldn't let them leave and 2 you think that they are dead cause the freighter blew up.
Plus its obvious that he don't care about nobody. When locke tells him after kiling keamy that he might of just killed everybody on the freighter bens reaction is ... ( So ??)
So I think getting them back to the island is about something else and is not gonna help the others on the island!

why dont you just theorize to yourself.you seem to have all the answers...lol but seriously the charlotte is annie theory was the obvious one the second she realized she grew up on the island........i am, however , not so sure now with 12 hours to ingest this all in.still trying to figure out how ben having jins ring, proves to sun that he is still alive....to me that would just prove the opposite.he could of just pulled the ring off his dead body

You know ,Elloise has some freaky reptilian eyes for sure!!And it did seem wierd how non chalant she was about not everyone being there.Maybe she needs atleast some of them to get back to the island herself! she has aged alot in the regular world and might need to get back or die .Richard and Dan dont age, so maybe these special people need the island for a "fountain of youth" so to speak. And Ben some how cut a deal with her so had different intentions.
Now the last 3 years he has been wacking as many Widmore people as he could. That is why he employed Sayid to do his killing.Details? who knows we'll see.
And good call with Dan flashing back to Dharma time to talk to Charlotte.thats what i think too.I dont remember Annie really but that would make sense.

Yes that is a good bet that Charlotte is Annie. But didn't it seem weird how Daniel remembers to cover all his bases when dealing with time travel, but looked as though he didn't even remember telling Charlotte "NOT" to return to the island or she would die????????? Another thing I was thinking about Faraday, was that he always looked pale and thin, as if he were sick, now we know he came in contact with that leaking atomic bomb, maybe he has radiation poisoning.

maybe the radiation from the hydrogen bomb is what caused Bens tumor?

I don't think Ben would have left at all if all he was worrying about was himself. If he really was as selfish as some make him out to be, he would have stayed on the island regardless of what Christian is saying are Jacob's orders, where his precious Juliet is and where he's pretty much safe from Charles. He could have just told Locke to do it in the first place since he apparently wants him dead.

Hello Jeremy how you been? I think Ben left the island because he wants to get revenge on Whidmore for killing Alex

I've been fine, though I'm not very anxious about having to go to work tomorrow. :p
What about you, Sirchin?
I would think you're right, but it seems to me as if they're forgetting the whole thing about Ben wanting to kill Alex, as well as the whole episode about Ben killing Goddwin so Juliet would "be his." Maybe they're going to save it for a future episode, though.

I've been fine, thanks.Yes I think they are saving the big battle between Whidmore and Ben for later. Either Ben's biding his time or all this he's doing now is leading up to the showdown, I know Ben is not gonna forget, he will have his revenge.

Say that, by chance, Ben, Desmond, Penny, and perhaps Charlie Hume all go back to the island. Maybe Desmond and Penny become Adam and Eve as a result of Ben chasing them down and killing them? Maybe he kidnaps Charlie and takes him to the Others so that they can raise him and see if he could become their leader? Who knows...

This is for JEREMY too...
I think (unfortunately) that they have not forgotten about what Ben said but they will pick up on the going after Penny idea in an upcoming epi. That's going to be really hard to defend...:(
I'm not at all happy about that one. The other people Ben killed or had killed, one might hope were exendable and not actually innocent - thereby exonorating (did I spell that right?) Ben... but Penny??? ooh... not so easy...
So, I'm certainly not looking forward to viewing that one...:(

Wow that would be interesting. I like the resurecting theory, that's been coming up a lot here this season.

well, they haven't been actually resurrected to "living" again... they're still dead, but in one time... and alive in another time... like Charlie said. "I AM dead. But I'm also here."

Yes your right. I was reffuring that some one mentioned Locke being resurected.

Speaking of Locke being ressurected, I'm wondering whether the smoke monster will simply pretend to be him being ressurected, and thus gaining some control over what the other Losties will decide to do.

Yeah, I don't think every time someone appears, they are necessarily who we think they are. I'm still not convinced that was Claire in Aaron's bedroom either. And I REALLY wonder about Christian... I do think Smokie AND Jacob are evil.

You two may be onto something here. Didn't Smokie appear to Mr. Eko as his dead brother right before he killed him?

Who knows, maybe everyone is evil. :p
Really, though, not every Other was/is good or evil, and the same goes for the freighter folk imo. I can recall in one episode during season 2, Locke told Jack something along the lines of, "We're all others." I think that says something about how just because you're in a group doesn't mean you can't still be an individual.
As for smokie and Jacob though, I'm not sure they're on the same side. I'm thinking that the whole deal with Locke losing and regaining his ability to walk over and over again is the result of a power struggle, and one of them wants Locke to walk while the other doesn't.

Being "OLD" is just a state of mind Jeremy, no matter your age. I still feel and act like a kid most of the time, but I do see people of age settaling into "old ways" I guess that's what you mean. What Kid said to you was a compliment.

Jeremy, I couldn't agree with you more. Ben clearly left because he was TOLD to leave. And Ben is a disciple of the island he loves so dearly. He is also a rule follower, and as askew as many believe he is in saying that, I always believe that not only does Ben always have a plan, he always has a REASON. He is a protector of the island and IS proceding with his plan of action in effort to save them all. There was more to his words than one would think when he said, "Are you happy now, Jacob?" as he tearfully made his exit.
Ben does want back and does want to be in charge again, but in the broad spectrum of things, I don't think he is only out for himself at all... nope. uh uh.
I just thought of something else...I believe Ben is protecting people FROM Jacob. I think he had been "containing" Jacob in that cabin using the ashes. That being said, my thought now is that perhaps the reason Christian didn't seem like Christian down the well with Locke might be because now that Ben's gone, Jacob is running around free. Wait...huh??? Does anyone follow that? Maybe that one was too out there...LOL
