We knew that objectes could travel with the Losties. But Jin showed an interesting twist. He showed that A Human can also be taken from the past. Like he did the guy`s arm. I bet thst plays A role latter.

You may have this wrong. They were holding onto the guy's arm and smoky snapped it off and it was laying on the ground near the hole. When the light flashed, Jin time traveled, but only to a short time in the future (you will note that the arm was starting to deteriorate). He then found Rousseau killing her group for being sick from the tunnel. So only Jin was time traveling, not the arm.

it also shows what the past people see when the losties time jump. the losties just vanish in thin air!

I was wondering about the black smoke that Jin saw in the distance. When I first saw it I thought it must be at the time when the Others take Rousseau's baby; but that was a week after she gave birth.

So what was the signifigance of that smoke that Jin saw?

I don't think he took the arm with him. I think they just left the arm there that whole time. I mean, why carry around your severed arm?

Im just going on what my wife told me. Because of work.us I wasn`t able to watch last night`s episode and untill I get my Pc back I have to use the Wii to log on and since it doesn`t have A flash player I can`t watch Lost online anymore.us So I was going on her descrption of what happend to Jin. So it seems she left out the part that the arm had just aged beside Jin. Not actualy travled with Jin.

So again. My mistake.

I agree. It was just the time skip into the future by a week or two it seems based on the way the arm looked.

I think that arm belonged to Ben's dad because I think it had the Key to the van on it with the rabbits foot if i remember correctly.

If I remember correctly, that plume of smoke was also seen in Season 1. When Rousseau first appears to the survivors. She tells them to stay away from it.

Yep. It's the "black smoke" that she said appeared before the Others showed up and stole Alex from her. She warned that the smoke is a sign that the Others are going to go after Aaron.
