Scientists theorize that there is a super massive black hole in the Andromeda Galaxy and one in our Milky Way galaxy, too. The disturbing forces involve space, time, electro-magnetic energy, matter, and light. At the event horizon the laws of physics change. Everything slows down. Is the island some experiment connected to future time travel, space travel, or some plan in which everything went terribly wrong and must be covered up? I like the worm hole theory. Is it a place where "the veil" between the spirit world and the finite world is thinning, causing so many anomalies?

I think you may be quite right, however, I think it also ties into the religious angle of the show as well. Science and faith

Yah I'm sooo confused right now, I feel like I need to do some hardcore studying about wormholes, time travel, physics....umm everything considering this show covers just about it all!
