The reason why Christian wants Locke to die is so that once the O6 and co. come back, smokey can take control of Locke's dead body and thus have even more of an authority over everyone.

Locke himself will be reincarnated into someone new. Perhaps his spirit/soul/whatever can time travel as well, so perhaps it's not too far of a streth to say that he becomes Jacob...

That's not so crazy. Locke always has always said that the island needs him for a higher purpose. He has "looked into the eye of the island". Jacob specifically spoke to Locke and said "Help me".

I can top that! This is the craziest theory ever:

Jacob owns Richard Alpert who is actually Vincent and one time, after eating some dark exotic matter, he farts and BOOM.....that's how we have Smokie!

I don't think so. I'm sure Daniel is going to approach young Charlotte and tell her not to come back, even though he knows full well she will. Because he loves her.
