Has this been covered already? I thought pregnant women always died before they had their babies on the island...with the exception of Claire. Maybe I am just blanking out from season 1 or 2 but since she is pregnant on the island do you think we will get to the point where she has Alex? Is it even important?

only if the baby is conceived on the island, does the mother die... so like aaron, alex was conceived off the island therefore allowing them to survive.
