Ben's Spy on the freighter

Hey all,

I have a couple of observations regarding Ben's spy.
In thinking the way Ben thinks (Every which way) what
about Charlotte? and I say thins because:

1. She was wearing a bullet proof vest. No one else was.
maybe Ben and her had it planned.

2. When Charlotte was at the dig, she gave a wad of cash to see the
polar bear. The same kind of money was in Ben's drawer that Sayid found.

3. She had a chance to leave, but remained

just thought I'd throw these out.

1. Well we know that they all have vests if they want them since before Charlotte jumps out of the plane she screams "where's my vest???" and Miles goes "Here take mine!" and she does....so I think they all brought the vests and guns just for precaution since they knew they were going to take Ben.

2. The money Charlotte gave is just what it is...money....Ben's drawer had tons of different foreign money for all over including various passports. I think the fact that Charlotte gave the money to the man in Tunisia just goes to show you that she is on a serious mission and obviously is working for someone with a lot of money, which could be Ben but I seriously doubt it since Ben shot her and Charlotte is obviously interested in learning all about the Dharma Initiative which Ben is trying to keep under wraps.

3. I think the reason she stayed is because she has her own agenda aside from being on the island to get Ben. She found the polar bear with the Dharma logo (which she didn't seem surprised at all in finding, like she expected to see it) so she's there to do more digs and find more stuff regarding Dharma. Same with Dan, he's so interested in his science experiments and realized that there is a time delay so he's staying to do more research.

No it sounded like the woman called him "Sam" but I went back and listened over and over again and she DEF said "Dan"...its pretty clear once you listen again.

i wonder if it could be frank?

i mean he seemed a tad vague when desmond was talking to him about the picture and was not prepared to commit at all. i think if he is not the spy, there is a chance that he may be on his own or someone elses mission rather than the naomi/abaddon one.

Sid I agree with you, Michael has got to be the spy. After all when Ben lets them leave he gives him the coordinates that would take him to a freighter.

I think Michael is the spy. He knows the island, he knows the people on the island, he has motivation. He may be forced to work for Ben again, especially since we do not know what the status of Walt is...

Playing Playstation 3 on the freighter? Who knows? I am sure we will find out. In LOST time it's only been a 2-3 weeks since Michael and Walt left, IIRC. That is a reasonable amount of time to be on a ship.

Walt's significance is definitely somethin' I'm lookin' forward to in Season 4. Hopefully we get some scenes of what took place during his time with the Others.

I don't think he could be playing Playstation 3 because I don't think at that time it was out yet! Maybe ps2.:D

I reckon you're right and Ben only shot her because like she said it looked like Locke was ready to shoot her. Locke might have shot her in the head and scuppered Bens plans.

I tend to agree with you about Charlotte and Ben. Charlotte is a very prepared kind of person and one not to be messed with. Ben seems to not leave anything to chance and as far we know everyone is doing exactly what he wants them to do.It may look random to throw us off, but Ben has been successful on the island for a very long time. He's some kind of genius. Every dog has his day. We may get to see Ben have his whether he turns out to be a hero or not. Writer, writer, on the wall, who's the leader of them all?Will they rise or will they fall?
