Kates Flashforward

Just a thought....we know that Kate is one of the oceanic 6, but why havn't we seen her flash forward story?? So far we've seen her in Jack's when they met at the airport strip, but thats it..I think? And, when she was leaving from the scene, she said "I have to get back, he'll wonder where I am". Could "HE" be Sawyer????

Well by seeing the previews for next week it looks like there going to delve into Kate's story....they showed her with cameras and papparazzi all around her claiming that she has "one of the most recognizable faces on the planet" so it should be an interesting episode.

I personally don't think its Sawyers she's getting back to...one because Sawyer seems adament about not leaving the island and two, I just think thats too much of the obvious source. I'm leaning more towards a child (such as Aaron or her own) or even Ben.

The idea of Ben and Kate creeps me out! Unless it's because Ben is "holding" something over her to two the line. Sawyer seems logical but why bother with that, this is LOST afterall....Why do people think she's got Aeron??

Kate and Sawyer is a possibility...Sawyer said to Kate, "Maybe we should try to play house". It could also mean off the island. Maybe Kate convinces Sawyer to leave with her.

Just thinking too, if Kate's flashforward in next weeks episode preview shows her being photographed like a celebrity, obviously she does not get arrested when she gets home. Why is she now a celebrity, not a fugitive of the law? I know I'm getting ahead of myself...I'm sure this will be answered next week, but I cant wait that long!!!!

Well seeing as how Sawyer is not one of the O6 it can't be him she's going back to. By the way she says he'll wonder where I am to Jack that to me infers that Jack knows this person as well. If not she would have stated it another way like my so and so will be wondering where I am. Who that person that they both know is, I haven't a clue.

Remember the "Six" are celebrities, and Sayid said he recieved a huge cash settlement from the plane crash. So maybe Kate's record was cleared after
coming home.

I think it's Ben. I think Ben actually helps them all when they get off the island. When Ben and Sayid were talking about protecting his friends I believe they were talking about the people left on the island.

i dont think its sawyer either although i felt a little bad for him today when he was talking to her.

i am swayed to the ben idea a lot aswell. i think he has promised something to them but in return they have to do something for him - sayid is his hitman, kate could be his lover, not sure about hurley or jack yet though.

I think the "he" is a baby (probably Sawyers) or she took Claire's baby

I dont know about that theory...if I left a baby or kid at home in the middle of the night, I wouldn't say "He'll probably wonder where I am". Call child services! Seriously though, I still think it's Sawyer!! There was another post above saying we know that Sawyer is not one of the Oceanic 6...is that true? How do we know that?

I think Kate comes back and assumes Claire's identity (Claire had dark hair in her flashbacks and now no family). No way Kate gets any immunity, there are a lot of dead bodies in her wake. Someone (her Mom?) will probably recognize her from all the press and turn her in!

But Lawgiver. In the future Kate is free and it is 2 years later. If her mom was going to turn her in it probably would have happened already. Plus according the previews for next week she is a celebrity.

Justjoe, how do we know that Sawyer is not one of the Oceanic 6 (one of your earlier posts on this thread)? Was that mentioned in a flashforward? Just wondering in case I missed something :)

I think her mom did turn her in or was she arrested for something else? Maybe she beat the charges...i'm sure if Sayid got a settlement she did too. Lots of money can get you out of most anything.

I don't know where i saw it, but there was a reference that a future Kate flash forward has her in court. If so, then she either: 1: Was brought in right away and let off or given probation (Hmm...was she referencing her proby to Jack); 2: Assumed another name, but was exposed; or 3: Committed some ulrelated act that brought her into court.

Which leads me to believe that she pretends to be Claire, since Claire had dark hair flashbacks for a reason (or maybe because she was a relelious punker at the time).
