No this isn't a Clue,even Richard asks Daniel have you came for your Bomb so they just think the Losties are part of the Army

Ellie did say something like "you just couldn't stay away" I think...I wondered what that meant myself.

Either A - she recognized Faraday specifically, and referred to him being there before and now returning.

Or B - She assumes they're part of the US Army, knows that her people have recently killed some troops, and presumably scared off/killed off the rest of whatever force the US Army had on the island...and now sees these people, assumes they're part of the Army, and asks that they couldn't stay away.

Really not sure which it is.

doesn't it bother anyone that NO ONE (i.e. Daniel, Miles or Charlotte) looked like they were wearing military clothing?

Ellie and the others were wearing military clothing which I assume that took from the GIs they had killed (though no blood on the clothes).

Widmore's uniform had another person's name on it, so why would Ellie and Co. (or Richard for that matter) assume that Daniel, Miles and Charlotte were military? Oh, and how many women were serving in the armed forces back in the 50's in combat units???

Ellie did pick up on this. When she was taking Daniel to Jughead she told him that he may have Richard fooled, but she didn't believe that a chinese man, a british woman and he were all part of the US military.

It's also possible Richard wasn't fooled either, he just saw someone who could help them with their problem. I'm inclined to think he was fooled though, based on the comments to makes to Daniel about coming back for his bomb, and asking him if he follows a chain of command.
