When the guy asks if he is Jack, why doesn't he just say YES! ? He looks like he recognizes the guy or something.

I think maybe he didn't say because he has a bit of doubt about the 'rescue people' now that he heard about Charlie's message. But maybe he's seen him before... wouldn't be the first time that's happened in LOST. :)

He probably didn't say yes because he's not exactly sure how much information he wants to give to these new people. He doesn't trust them because of Charlie's message.

I think something wrong is about to happen on the Island, something that makes it so that all but six people are stuck there. Maybe it has something to do with the splitting of the group, and therefore Hurley would probably feel it was his fault. Not sure! We'll just have to wait and find out.

If you guys dont know, the parashootist is the same guy that told bens dad to join the Dharma Initiative.

That same guy was on the bench, with blood in his nose to fake his death, when Ben planned the execution of th 40 dharma initiative members.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that guy fooled ben in to thinking the mass execution actually worked but is now back to finish the job....Killing the Hostile/others...........Not sure though

Very interesting and nice catch on that bench guy. But how did he get off the island, they threw all the dead bodies in a ditch, how does this guy fake his death then get off an island that can't be found, all by himself.:confused:

I don't remember that guy's face...but I just know he's from Saving Private Ryan ha. But I think Jack didn't want to tell him his name because like some other people said, he did not know if he could trust the guy.

According to IMDB.com, Jeremy Davies is the actor playing Daniel Faraday, who looks like the parachutist. According to IMDB, that was his first appearance on Lost.

His name is Daniel Faraday Who is played by Daniel Faraday
