Dan and Minkowski

Ok so I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this.....when Dan is setting up his little science experiment with the clocks and all, he asks Frank for the phone to call Regina. Frank wants to know WHY he wants to call Regina and Dan, being his strange awkward self, says for his experiment...Frank then throws him the phone and says to him (as if he's a child) "Ok you can talk to Regina. Now if Minkowski gets on the phone, don't talk to him" or something like that. Any ideas as to why Dan can't talk to Minkowski? It seems to me like Dan is there because of his science expertise but he doesn't really seem to be on the same level as Frank and Miles....almost like they're using Dan??

i just mentioned that on the bens freighter thread. i thought either they are suspicous of him in some way or perhaps they dont want him to know what is going on so rather than fib, hang up.

Just some thoughts here
Maybe he is a little slow. I mean not at the extream as Ramen in the movie Raymen. But perhaps he has some mental issues. I mean he did seem to cry and not even know why. Like he gets the complex thoughts and numbers. But when it comes to something simple like taking a phone call he might not do well.

I don't think that is teh reason he was told not to talk. I belive each phone has it's own signal number kinda like a IP number. Perhaps Each person was given their phone and told not to use anyone elses. But I think it goese back to that Minkowski is a bussy man. So he might not be able to stay on long. SO Frank wants to talk as soon as he calls. Something like that. Im just brain storming here.

I don't think he lies well so a hang up is better than trying to explain why your trying to find Charolette. Also Charlotte and he seem to be there for science. She was pictured with some kind of award, like a noble peace price, when their "recuitment" photos were shown to Naomi. Some are in the loop and some are not...
