View Full Version : Chalk line
ok, as Lockes group was walking through the woods, he came to a point where he thought he wanted to be (the cabin?) and he looked down and saw on the ground what looked like a chalk line sort of boundary....and then he feels he is mistaken. Then the dialogue with Hurley about it maybe not being the right place.....(and Locke knows this island like the back of his hand)
thoughts?

Hurley found the shack to but it's like it was in a different spot. Maybe like the bunny from the Darhma film. It phases in and out of time or reality. John marked the sand to give him a tangilbe point but he doesn't fully understand the mysteries so then he had to improvise by going to the barracks.

There's another whole thread about this, but I think that Jacob is either testing Locke or is not happy with something Locke is doing and that's why the cabin is not where it used to be.
I don't think he at all thinks he's mistaken, I think he's just confused as to why it's not appearing to him now (the cabin) and he just says he's mistaken so he doesn't have to explain anything to the group.
Ok, sorry if this was covered in another thread.
And I agree that he knows where it was/is and that he was merely pretending he was/is in the wrong place. (Lost) ha
Again, sorry if this was covered already.

I don't care that you started a new thread, but you might want to check out the other one.. I don't remember what it's called, but it's kind of recent.. there are a few actually about the moving cabin..
