Sayid working for Ben while on the island!!??

I'm convinced that Sayid has been working for Ben all along. Maybe it's me, but he looked really sad about Naomi being killed. No one else seemed to give it a 2nd thought, but he closed her eyes, covered her & suggest they take her home!! WHY?? For a torturer, he sure has a big HEART?! Then, when we see him & Ben at the end it just makes sense. Somehow Sayid knew Naomi & was fond of her. I don't know....this Sayid thing is making me 2nd guess his loyalty to everyone from the beginning.:confused:

Now that I think about it some more....maybe he didn't work for Ben, but he was working for someone. His reactions to Naomi were just too strange for me.

I certainly hope that Sayid is not working for anyone else... I would feel betrayed by that greatly. However, I do remember reading somewhere, I honestly dont remember where, that a character that we have followed since the beginning of the show will turn out to be someone we didnt expect. It cold have just been a rumor, but you make a good point with Sayid and Ben, or whoever else it might be.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me one bit but I just doubt that its Sayid....haha maybe its just because I've fallen in love with the characters and trust all of them but yah, I think that would make a great shocking twist if one of the Losties we've grown to love has been behind it this whole time! I don't in any way think that he was working for Ben on the island, BUT the new episode was a little weird.. He did to react to Naomi's death a little strongly for someone that barely knew her, and also his whole thing about getting to the freighter first. It just seemed a little "off" to me. I know he could be just going to check it out before letting the other losties get on it, but still.. the whole thing was just a little bit strange...

I totally agree on Sayid acting strange, but to me, he has always acted that way. I've always felt this mysteriousness with him. I guess thats why I like his character so much.

i think the reason he was so bothered by the death is down to religion.

we have seen him stop to pray etc....and i think when miles referred to naomi as a piece of meat this bothered him so maybe he wants to ensure her body gets the correct burial.

HOWEVER, he has killed and seen others die and not made a big deal of it.

Okay, he was a torturer but he did what he did because it was serving for a cause he believed in. Doesnt mean he cant have feelings!

I feel he is the character that is in cahoots with Ben, which would be a shocker (not as much as sayid working with ben from the island). What do you think about when Sayid told Locke he wasn't expecting to get Charlotte without giving him something in return? I don't believe he was simply referring to Miles. Perhaps it's at this point that Sayid makes a deal to work for Ben and Locke to protect the island in exchange for Charlotte so he could leave the island.

It would be a nice story line for "Lost", but I'm thinking perhaps its not "Sayid", just maybe the writers are forcing us to believe it to be Sayid and then WHAM! the True Culprit - the insider ... "Locke" himself (that would confuse us EVEN MORE). Sayid most likely new Naomi from the past I mean she was involved in espionage and such, they probably worked together at some point and MADE LOVE..............

after reading this post i could totally see Sayid being on Flight 815 because he was on his way to L.A. to do a hit and then has been gathering information ever since the crash.... if you think about it, there have been a lot of times he has gone off without the Losties (e.g.-when he leave to map the island) and he could very well have been going off to talk with Ben about things...

i also found the Republican Guard - RG connection interesting but i'm not convinced, though he is proving the bracelet correct throughout the episode!

I personally think that this season is developing from present on and from a future point backwards. thus sayid is working with ben because he must eliminate the threat of the people who are coming to the island. These people are a danger to the members of oceanic who are still hiding on the island. Since Ben knows who they are sayid is working with him to destroy the threat. However i also personally think that lost is an interpretation of Shakespeares the Tempest.

I've noticed that too, especially regarding Sayid....I wonder if somehow she's still very significant to whats going on or will come back into play. I don't at ALL think that she's still alive by any means, like she's going to magically wake up in the helicopter haha but who knows why they keep pinpointing her body....even as much to make sure she made it on the plane?

It is possible that Sayid is working for Ben because of it being someone we don't expect . Seeing that Sayid was visibly moved when he looked at Naomi's body and he saw the bracelet, makes me suspicious.So many characters have led double lives. Look at how Locke has shifted when he threw the knife at N,He's suddenly gotten so clever.What's that all about. Is he getting craftier because he's working with Ben or Jacob? He was shot on the side of his missing kidney.Was that really a fortunate accident or planned to make it look like he was an enemy? His own dad tricked him and yet he was still looking for love from him!

I agree with you! Sayid is one of those people who you really feel is honest in the show. I mean if it wasn't about killing people you wouldn't be suprised if Locke was working with Ben because he's on his own journey and stuff. I don't get that from Sayid.

Yeah I agree, they know they shouldn't have left for some reason. Plus there keeping some really important secrets that we don't know about yet.

Did nobody else notice the bracelet on the girl sayid shoots in the hotel, It looked very similar to naomis, Sayid seemed to be drawn to it too. Naveen was on the radio a couple of weeks ago saying we would see sayid in "another dimension" whatever that means.

sayid could be workin 4 ben, remember he is the 1 that worked out Michael was trikin jack k8 hurley nd sawyer goin to the others. he knew exactly wat michael was doing cos possibly ben had already told them. also paulo and nikki had that walkie-talkie, he could of used that to communicate with ben...?
