i gotta question. Why does she care about these people getting back to the island. what is in it for her? i found it interesting desmonds saying that they were pawns for these people. i dont get why she gets out of it sending these people back to the island. Any thoughts?

I don't think it is the people Eloise cares about, but the Island. The Island seems to be extremely special to a lot of people, and they would do whatever is necessary for what they feel is in the best interests of the Island.
