Not sure what happened to ben, hate guessing, but i do think that when ben gets bloodied and beaten, people do what he says.........sux we wont know til 2 or 3 more weeks, the way the episodes are all set up....wish i could move in time too!

i think desmond shot him all up and left him for dead. only the island doesn't let you die if it still needs you. maybe ben wanted desmond to think he was dead so it would be easier to kill penny since they would come out of hiding
