No one asking about Locke!!!

I've been hearing tons of questions from posters and writers about "316" and I haven't heard anyone ask or speculate what happened to Locke after the "plane crash". Is he simply rotting somewhere in the hot jungle? Did he sink to the bottom of the ocean? Did he reincarnate as Paulo? Did he come back to life and do a slow motion run and hug with the island? What do you guys think happened?

I think he haunts Jack for putting stupid dress shoes on him when everyone knows, you don't wear dress shoes to an island that requires walking every where.

I then think the first island boxing match occurs between Locke and Christian and the winner gets the white tennis shoes.

I could be way off though!

I was thinking along these lines (about the shoes) during the episode. I thought why in the world would Jack wear a suit and tie when he knows he'll end up in the jungle on an island. It's almost as ridiculous as Faraday still wearing his tie after all this time.
