When I think it was Jack asked if they new about Penny and the picture, did anyone noticed how Miles looked at his "friends" like he was nervous about the question? I think Penny's Dad is in on something.

Yah I remember that and it was Desmond who asked Frank....Frank in turn looked back at Dan and they both looked at each other and thats when Desmond stormed over to the helicopter and was like fine if you all aren't going to tell me the truth I'll find out for myself! So I def think they know who Penny is....but I really don't think Penny knows of them.

i think they were sent by penny's father for some reason, at first i thought that it was to stop penny from finding desmond

Yah I agree I think its Penny's father who is behind all this but I think that both Penny and Mr. Widmore are in search of the island and potentially Desmond, but for different reasons.

i went on and did whole interactive thing. And again. for those who dont know.. that site is just interactive games, but its also a side story of someone who boards the Christiane I (the ship that finds the "fake" 815 under sea). And when on the site.. it showed that someone else had an immense interest in finding the "black rock" or really perhaps the losties. and that person works for a subsidary company which is connected to Widmore enterprises. SO... either that was real "penny's boat" or dad has something to do with all this. and he may also be a cause to why desmond ends up on the island. after all.. who would know better than the man who has traveled the seas plenty of times in that race of his.

I too think Penny's dad is trying to get to the "goodies" of the island He's a poo-poo head for keeping all of Des' letters from prison. Penny isn't 13 years old! He's got alot of money and probably wants to keep it! Penny is still looking for Desmond too and Charlie got thru to her I don't think she was just casually surfin the net!

I am pretty sure that they either know who Mr. Widmore is or know why Desmond was important enough to bring a photo for some reason, but as to why they can't say anything about it??? Any help here?

they were definitely ansty about it and frank never really gave desmond a straight answer.

Regarding Desmond and Penny's picture that Naomi had....did they ever show who TOOK the picture? I know it was one of those little random things with a back drop but MAYBE (and I'm just throwing this out there) that whoever took that picture was a spy or something for Mr. Widmore keeping tabs on Penny....thats how he would have that picture? Just a thought....
