So in all the flash fowards the "oceanic 6" appear to be going mad..Hurley is in the nut house, Jacks a drunk, Sayid is a contract killer (for ben none the less), and well kate(we know about her but the only hint we get of unhappiness is when she cries about jack saying that they need to go back.) Now Oceanic clearly placed that Decoy plane, and the only way they could swing getting people back into the real world from the actuall crash is to take a small amount, like 6 ,and pay them a large sum (like sayid talked about), and lie about all the others fellow crash-ees left on the Island and lie about the Islands existence itself....now spilling the beans about the island im assuming would get the rest of the Oceanic 6 in some serious trouble wich is why they are all so convinced that they should not tell. They all must feel regret and want to get back to the Island...Sayid Teams up with Ben to take out the people who are connected to the search party people who rescue 6 of the Lostees in order to in bens words "protect your friends" (or save your friends cant rem.) Im pretty sure that these people Sayid is goin after are in connection with the freighter because in the golf scene when Sayid tells the man hes one of the 6 the man seems disgruntled and very uncomfortable as if he had wronged him ...any ideas or comments

And do you think that only 6 of the OCEANIC people get off the Island or is that the name of just that small group...what if Ben and julianne and desmond get off the island...i would assume that would happen

I don't personally think they could keep the island's existence a secret...the public would wonder where in the world these 6 people had been for the past 100 days. I like the theory...and I too think that way more people actually leave.

yeah i think it's more that ben is keeping people from finding the island for his own selfish reasons and is able to enlist sayid's help by saying he will be protecting his friends... i think that the oceanic 6 obviously have to admit to living on an island for so long but lie about their being any other survivors

I would like to think that they are all trying to get back so they can help their friends, whether they can or not, who knows. Ben might know that he may never get back, so he and Sayid are taking out the people trying to find that island one by one.
I also just remembered something - I read an Entertainment Weekly a couple weeks ago, right before the season premier, and they interviewed Matt Fox. He wouldn't let on to too much, but he did say that in the season finale yelling "We have to go back!," that means jack is f-ing going back. Weird, but cool.

First i very much agree that there are more than six that get off the island. However everyone seems to think that ben has'nt ever been off the island before. I think ben has been off and back on the island many times. We know richard has and we know that ben has people on the outside. Another thing is I believe that locke was right when he said ben was the wizard of OZ. And the last thing I really want to know if these flash fowards are the future after the season finale or just the future until next season.

My assumption is that the flashforwards we're seeing are that of next season or the season after possibly...I don't think its after the finale because I have a feeling they're going to become present day situations (if that makes sense) such as Jack going to the funeral parlor or meeting up with Kate....I think perhaps they may even try to get BACK to the island at some point. So thats just my theory.

Well my other theory (if going to the island is like going back in time) maybe when Jack and Hurley say "we have to go back" maybe they aren't talking necessarily about the island, but maybe meaning they have to go back in time to change something? Its a longshot but just an idea.

Haha I know...or maybe even 2 hours long each time....I can't get enough! i've started watching it again from the 1st season, its better watching it a second time (or 3rd, or 4th, or 5th...) haha jk :)
