Being a musician, my favorite ending is in season 1 when Hurley is sitting on the beach listening to his cd player and the batteries run out. "Son of a bitch", then nothing but the sound of waves. Seriously- I almost cried.

LMAO! So true oldasslocke, so true. Last night's ending ranks up there for me, that was so cool, Ben is ruthless. But he killed my favourite character, not so cool.

from begining to end i'd have to say the constant was the best episode and ending. 2nd place would def be the looking glass, we all knew charlie was going to die and it was still one of the saddest and most emotional things ive ever seen.

i dont know what the best ending is but i damn sure pick jack return to the island and my fav. opening , that was the most mind blowing to me because at first i thought is was him comming in at the plane wreck, man that was awsome.

Another one of my favorite endings- and it was totally unexpected- was Expose when Nikki and Paulo get buried alive. It was the first time ANY tv show made me jump up out of my seat and literally yell "OMG! OMG! OMG!". My cats thought I had "lost" it. ;)

And Erratic Pendulum, you are right. The ending of "The Constant" had me balling like a baby turnip head! eh-em I mean Aaron. Man that was emotionally draining. There must be something wrong with me. lol

My personal favorite was the ending to the episode when Locke has Sawyer kill Locke's father and then Locke walks into the "others" camp. Talk about a conflict of emotions.

I think I've got a few favorites. The ending of 'The Brig' was nice, as was the ending of '?'. 'Deus Ex Machina' had the best, though, imo.

mine was probably when they revealed that is was a flash forward instead of a flash back. I had no idea and it opened a whole new can of worms for the show.

-In The Brig, we found out who conned Sawyer's parents, and Sawyer got to kill him. It turned out to be Cooper/Locke's dad. There were two particular lines in the last scene that I liked: "Were you really a cripple?" "No, not anymore."

-In '?', Eko and Locke found the Pearl while Jack and co. focused on making Libby's death as painless as possible. The ending wasn't so much an actual scene as it was some kind of collage(sp?) with the sound of the computer beeping in the background.

-Finally, in 'Deus Ex Machina', we get a flashback wherein Locke finds out he was conned into giving Cooper his kidney. After that we see Locke pounding on the hatch and asking why Boone had to die and etc., and then a light comes on from inside it.

I also liked the one where they flashed for just a second to the rising, black smoke, before hitting with the LOST title screen.. Can't remember which episode tho.. it was chilling.

Season 2 ep 6 when Shannon is shot,the expressions on Ana Lucia's and Saeed's faces.
Season 2 ep 17 or 18? when Saeed says to Ben "....so I dug up that grave and found there was not a woman inside but a man,named Henry Gale".
Season 3 ep 6,when Jack shouts "Kate dammit run"!

My favourite ending was in 'Tricia Tanaka is dead' when Hurley was all happy driving around in his van after his victory of getting it started!

gotta admit loved the end of season 1 at the time where walt was taken by the others . Lost was so simple and mysterious at the time and the onnly thing we cared about was the others and the survivors escaping! And then to see walt being stolen and the raft being blown up - so shocking at that time!

of course compared to Jacob [aparently] in dog form nowadays if this was put into season 5 it would seem relatively rubbish haha!

The End of Season 1 and 2 were really good and i really liked the end of Jeremy Benthem. "Yes, thats the man that killed me" also i liked the one where Jin jumps out of the Dharma Van.
