Does the island resurect people?

Season one shows that Jack sees his dad standing in the water a couple of days after the crash. in this season we see that the ajira passengers find locke standing in the water. this makes me wonder, can the island bring people back to life? the place is full of miracles like curing rose's cancer to moving an entire freakin island! so the possiblity of bringing someone to life is possible. let me hear what you think.

Suspect people who i think have died and came to the island without us knowing.....

1. Juliette, when she drank the powder...it killed her not KNOCKED her out......discuss

2. Charlie, and possibly ALLLLLL of the other passengers from 815...charlie said to hurley im there, but i am HERE too, possible that u resurect on the island but if u die on the islandu die 4 goood?

3. Patchy.....hes died several times.....and has said to have died 3 times in 1 week from himself...lol
