I think it is kinda weird that Sayid gets Elsa to be in the right place and Elsa gets Sayid to be in the right place. The golf guy is the same thing. Someone else posted that maybe Ben is doing both. Would Ben let Elsa shoot Sayid though?

don't think so....i think that sayid and elsa were watching eachother so much and trying to make that first meeting happen so much that it just worked out that way.....with the golf guy..i think that someone here said it best:) Sayid is "our Jason Bourne" and has become Ben's assassin .....skilled in communication already and now stalking Ben's enemies down one by one....he set that one up and knew that golf guy enough by watching him that he knew what days/times he played and could make it look like he was there just doing his thing (and what girlz here think that Jason Bourne doesn't have A THING on Jason Bourne.....and he even has a memory...even better)

I don't think Ben was behind both Sayid's efforts AND Elsa's. I'm guessing Elsa was working with Abbadon or Widmore or someone else.

Ben, as mysterious as he is, does not seem to be in the position to manipulate on that level. To him, his goal and role are both very clear. He has enemies. He needs to defend himself and whatever he is protecting.

there not chance meetings - sayid knew when these people would be in specific places and made sure he was there too.

i like the ben being both the bosses theory as i also like the idea that he has more than 1 incarnation of him. however i cant shake of the hints that he is working against a bigger power like widmore etc...
