Hurley mentioned the "six" from the plane when they flashed forward to him racing the car. The "theme" of the island seems to be people escaping their problems in the real world and Ben even asks Jack what he has to go back to and what's important in his life off the island. Then you hit the flashbacks where Hurley ends up back in the nut house [where he originally was hiding from his problems], Jack is acting like his father and probably becoming his father [which he references when he says to get his father down here and see who is more drunk] and Kate has to "get back" before he is wondering where she is [maybe under some kind of police watch from her blowing up houses days?] If Locke is in the casket, then he met his fate by being alone with no family or friends showing up to his funeral [like he didn't have any family or friends when he went to the island]. That's four...now we need two more. It seems like those who die on the island have resolved something...those who get off, may not. What do you think?

I say sun and jin are coming home to save the baby and maybe Sun as well. Everyone else, would probably stay, but I can't help but thinking it was their choice to stay or leave, I think it was all by chance.

i think that bernard and rose are also back as well, it seemed to me that rose wouldnt go with locke for anything

I think Rose and Bernard would stay regardless of what Locke was going to do. Rose and Bernard want to stay to keep Rose healthy they believe(rightfully so) that the island healed her cancer.Hurley originally went with Locke but was still one of the 6.So much is gonna happen before we'll know the groups may come together again before rescue.

ok... so this is my thinking!
so im thinking that maybe all 40 ppl got off the island.
but im also thinking that ben was right, nd almost 40 ppl died( not includong the oceanic 6). the oceanic 6 are:
jack
kate
sawyer
hurley
locke
claire(including aaron)


i think john locke is in the coffin, even if it is too small for him.
i think in "jacobs" cabin its christian shepard. Christian shepard IS "jacob". and its lockes eye in the window of the cabin. cus if i survived a gunshot, i would deff go back to jacobs cabin!!
i think the ppl with the most connection with the island are the following:
Ben(obviously)
locke(for seroious)
nd hurley(cus he saw"jacob")

but question...
if christian shepard rely is jacob, then before the losties crashed...who was Ben taking orders from??? hmmm????
and why would ben start taking orders from him now??
the ppl on thr frater are actually bad


even though soo many ppl hate ben, hes very smart. he does have a connection with the island. nd even though hes an ass, i belive him about some subjects.

I agree, I think Ben's character is awesome. I personally just love how Michael Emerson carries himself as an actor. Its just so, I don't know like, I know everything, but I'm not going to tell you anything. You have to figure it out yourself. He's like that in every film. He just has this ora about him, hes a great actor, I wish I could meet him. Thats my 1 wish.

Yeah dude, Richard is the one who meets Ben when he runs away, he has Long hair and a beard, Now when ben's like 40 or so Richard has short hair and is clean shave, personally I think that makes him look younger.

no...i still think that the others never age....when ben ran into the woods after his dead mother...richard looks to be in his 30's....when ben grows up and is in his 40's...richard still looks the same and if he aged that would make him in his 70's

I can't seem to put my finger on why exactly the islands original inhabitants never age. I'm not sure of a buch of theories I have heard but I can't help but wondering if the BOX has somthing to do with it. Ben said there is a "BOX" that what ever you imagined into the box was in the box. Or somthing to that effect, I was under the impression that was how locke's dad got there. But I can't think what could be in this box that would make them live forever, of longer. Any ideas?;)

idunno.....maybe the box is the time travel portal...remember locke's dad said that he was driving down a freeway and collided in an accident then everything went black...next thing u know he showed up in the box on the island.....

the oceanic 6 are Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun and Jin.

The third episode is called The Economist and will be Sayid centric with a flashfoward in Germany and apparently a great ending.

The 4th episode, Eggtown, will be Kate centric, and there will be again Flashfowards this one with an apprently shocking finisher.

The 7th episode will be Ji Yeon and will focus on Sun and Jin off the Island.

The 5th episode is The Constant and i think it will focus on Desmond. The next episode Confirmed Dead i'm unsure of but i think it will be mostly centered on the Island as the oceanic 6 are covered in the other episodes and the 8th episode, which i think is called Meet Kevin Johnson will feature Michael's return and the well publicised cliffhanger ending.

My theories on these are that Confirmed Dead will be focused around the freightors finding someone they were sent to confirm was dead (shocker) or maybe that someone out of the island cast will die.

The Economist i think will be Sayid working as a mercenary/contractor in his old ways and just an idea, but i think he will die at the end in the flashfoward. How interesting would that be to watch sayid on the island knowing that he dies after he leaves?

Eggtown will reveal that Kate was not pregnant but that she cares for Aaron, Claire's now 3/4 year old son.

The Constant sounds quite ambiguous but i think it will link to some of the paranormal activites that occur and if it is desmond centric, it may focus on Penny trying to find desmond based on her communications to Charlie at the end of season 3.

Ji Yeon i think will focus on Sun and Jin trying to raise their child who bears the same name as the episode. I think based on all the pregnancy stuff on the island and given that sun conceived on the Island Sun will die in this episode.

Meet Kevin Johnson is still a mystery but one thing is confirmed, Michael will definately return and there will be a big cliffhanger.

Well any thoughts on all that?

Confirmed Dead is about how everyone on Oceanic flight is "Confirmed Dead". They find the wreckage on go down with cameras and yada yada.

There was more to it than that. He said he got into accident. Then he was in an ambulance and a guy smiled at him as he was injected with something. Next thing he knew he was seeing his dead son. I think he was brought to the island before the method of transportation was terminated. Juliet was drugged, she woke up when the sub had stopped and got off on the island. Locke's dad would have been drugged and kept drugged until he woke up and the blindfold came off and he saw Locke again. That's my idea. I don't see how else he could get from an ambulance to the island... would like to know how though...
