Hello all. First off, this is the most interesting board I've ever been a part of. I've been reading for a while but this is my first post.

I'm confused with something. Physically three years passed for the Oceanic 6.
Also, according to last night's episode, physically, 3 years have passed for Sawyer, Jin, Daniel, and Juliette (and I guess Bernard and Rose wherever they are).

That's all great it keeps things even on both fronts as far as a stretch of time. However......Locke came on the same plane as Jack and the others and he's been gone from the island for about a week max. I wonder if they will explain it. From what I understand Locke leaving for one week (HIS time) was 3 years later for the Losties...........I think this is COOL! yet still confusing.

When Ben turned the wheel, he jumped 10 months into the future when he woke up in Tunisia. We can then logically assume that Locke also jumped into the future when he fixed the wheel. His time jump took him to a point in 2008 - three years after the O'6 left the island.

Yeah that I get....but as for Locke he's been gone from the island for about a week...for sawyer and the gang, it's been 3 years. He thinks he;s been gone for a week they;ll think he;s been gone for 3 years. It all makes sense (sort of) I just can't wait to see their reactions.

without reviewing previous episodes... do we know when he ended up? Did he look up the O6 in a months time and then got killed right away? Or how long time did he live in our time?

Then as a movie making age issue it is more evident if a person is 12 or 15 (as in Walt's case) or if the time passed is from 26 to 29 (Kate/Claire type of thing). Since most of the survivors are some what the same age, it would be difficult to have them age in different directions. If three years pass all over their ages would still be kept together as they were before. If Locke ages or not would not matter in a production kind of way as he still would be "much older" than everyone else.

Having Locke not age more than a week would also be convenient if he would do a Richard Alpert on us and stop aging... Then this would not have to be given away until later... yet another island secret...
