In a deleted scene from last year Miles could hear whether the sonic fence was on or not so why in Lafluer was he not able to do that? He walked straight into the fence.

Maybe it was deleted cos they didn't want that to be one of his skills.

and, all in a side by side fashion so they hit it at once. I did notice Pam grabbed something out of the control box ( earplugs i think.)

she did take ear plugs out of here ears after they crossed.

yes as its been said, that scene was deleted....its not relevant to the show. it was removed for a reason.
